Hatton vs Tszyu (Low blows)

All these Hatton Tzyu threads should be merged into one.

Both fighters fought dirty...Ricky's shot was WAAAAAY south and looked ten times harder than TSzyu's, but then again all of Ricky's puches looked ten times harder than Tszyu's...both fighter fought a rough and tumble fight...The shot Kostya landed on the beltline should have been ruled a knockdown though, although it would not have changed the outcome of the fight (although maybe then Tszyu would have come out for the final round)

Ok take a careful look at both and then tell me again that Hattons is lower. I liked Tszyu's punching as Ricky is going down, very sporting isnt it u Americans? Hatton shot was a bit lower than Tszyu's, but they were both defintely low. Are you calling me an American?? :confused:

vs KT's "low blow" was on the beltline, but hattons trunks were a little high, so it's understandable. Hatton's was disgracefully low, and on purpose.

Remember, on the belt line is NOT a low blow. If there is any discrepency, the ref will tell you whats good or not at the stare down. He never said Hattons shorts were too high. I think he got the call wrong...Knockdown for Tszyu

agreed but that was hatotn letting him have one bvack. like i say they both fought fiarly dirtily, hatont holding and hititng on the inside, zoo was holding and clubbing hatotn tot he back of the head in most rounds so..swings and roundabouts mate i think..

EXCEPT YOU HAVE MISSED THE OTHER LOW BLOW BY KOSTYA THAT PROVOKED RICKY TO SMACK HIM IN THE NUTS. :rolleyes: kostya hit roicky more than once low hence Hatotn came out and delibertaily let him have on cos the ref didnt deduct a point. fair enough in my book. iut was a quite dirty fight from both fighters though.

You can really tell by looking at Hatton's back in the 2nd clip how high he's wearing his trunks. They're above the navel. Tszyu's shot is on the belt, which is worn high, and Hatton's shot is square on the cup.

good job man. Looks like both hurt quite a bit, but hatton looked like he hit lower...
