Surprising really... I'd have thought he'd be aiming at Floyd etc. rather than going for another tough fight with a big hitter like Tszyu...
Fair play to him I guess but probably not the smartest move IMO...
i think tsyzu might have a long shot in a rematch hatton also said in australia he would fight him so that could be a big deciding factor with perhaps a more tsyzu ref breaking and calling boxing fouls or usa with impartial ref
It depends on the fighter for me, I think Tyszu could come back and handle the likes of Gatti and guys like that but he has to be smart with it and not take fights like Mayweather or Hatton again. I also would say Roy Jones should come back because of me being a big Jones fan, whethere that is the right move or not I dont know. I guess it depends.
35 is a good age for a fighter to retire IMO opinion though... According to the british press he's got a broken nose, broken jaw and has been pissing blood for 3 days so how much longer can a body take that kind of thing at that age...
In your 20's you can recover but in your late 30's...??
LMAO, the british press said that?
That jaw looked seriously damaged post fight. Imo tsyzu still beats mosley, dlh in big money fights and could probably take gatti and cotto for no other reason than cotto is very very green....in fairness though he has had a great career and the hatton fight was a bruising battle. By the time he picks up gloves again he'll be 36 right? I think he'll take the opportunity to retire especially since himself and hatton seem to get on so well and have mutual respect. What better way to pass the buck than to a guy you actually think is a great example to boxing and a nice guy to boot.

Tszyu is a warrior, I think he has more in him..

I think Tszyu should keep fighting. No need to retire. He talks of challenging himself. What bigger challenge than to see if he can regain that glory? He was still very competitive. He'd still beat Gatti. Maybe now is the time for him to move up in weight. With DLH returning to 147 and Mosley there and Judah there, there are some good money making options for Tszyu.
he siad he would consider it if kostya wanted one, kostya is talking of retirment, talk is its going to be coralles within the next year so dunno where you got this from
