He proved in the past that he can and cannot take a punch. Wlad also is on the same road. Whats the standard on Golotas chin? What was his main reason to losing to Brewster? Bad defense definately but, maybe he should've been able to take a couple of those shots since Brewster had to like jump to reach his face. Wlad took Brewsters shots, and didnt fall.
Golota's chin is terrible! Only his heart is worse than his glass chin.
Regardless of what certain people in the boxing media would lie you to believe, Brewster has never been a great puncher. He couldn't KO Clifford Ettienne (who probably has the worst chin in the division); he couldn't KO Charles Shufford or Kali Meehan. These our all guys that get starched regularly.
Also, Golota was PULVERIZED by Lennox Lewis in one round; he was dropped by Michael Grant three times and Mike Tyson put him on his ass almost immediatley.
Golota is a bum and will always be one.
Sorry to burst your bubble but he was not dropped by Grant three times, Golota dropped him twice and Grant dropped him once.

Well against Brewster he was not hit on the chin he was hit on the side of the head by his temple. I don't question his chin , I question his heart, desire and psyche. These three have been his downfall not his chin.
Nothing wrong with Golota, he just got caught cold against Brewster. That happens sometimes. His career is winding down though.
I think it is down. I had Brewster bein the worst belt holder out there and Golota lost to him.
If peeps are still confident that Golota can beat Brewster in a rematch, and that was jest luck, then I dunno what else to say. Golota is done in my opinion. He might have gotten robbed on 1 occasion, but OH WELL.
Shiznite, I have LITTLE hope fo Tyson to be champ, what do you expect me to have fo Golota. LOL. Take it eazy homie and keep em spinnin like ice be gleamin!
he wasn't actually "KO'D", he got up. One thing fo sho, he dont got the worst chin out there.
He at least average chin, I would say above average, becase like I said. He took Hellacious shots from Bowe and walked right through them. He took a hellacious overhand right from Tyson as well and got up from that right away in total coherency at the count of 1.
Golota has a good chin if you watch the fights against Bowe. Or the his fight against Pouha. Against Brewster was the first time Golota was actually KO'D. He took hellacious shots against Bowe and kept on fighting and walked through alot of Bowe's big shots without even blinking. He just got decked clean against Brewster and never recovered from it.
He has not been knocked down very times either really.

What a great move by Valuev's people trying to get this fight done!
An instant mega-jump in name-recognition and all you have to do is beat up a guy who's confidence level has got to be in the toilet.
