fight night 2 question

on the first 1 (Fight Night 2004) i can beat like muhammad ali with kevin kelley (weakist chin on the game). it was funny but damn hard cos as soon as ali throws an uppercut my man took the posture of a noodle pretty quick and i was all over the place. i just had to be careful and slowly take him out. took about 8 rounds aswell when usually on career mode i annihilate 1st place for the title within the first round. :D yeah FN'04 was way too easy, but you could create a few fighters who looked exactly like the real fighters, I created Tommy Hearns, Oscar DeLaHoya, and Sharmba Mitchell look-a-likes in '04 and I can't create them in this year's version

Nope it has always been with a haymaker, can it be done with a regular punch like a jab? The first time I played 04, I was Roy Jones and I went up against Antonio Tarver. The bell rang I threw a wicked hook Tarver ducked and came back up with devastating left hook (just like it happened) and it knocked me down and I couldnt get up. That was a special treat it was like a reanactment of the original. Never had anything like that happen again, it was 8 seconds into the first round. from a jab? LOL, you wanna re-enact how ma main Pac got dropped by a jab huh? Crazy foo! LOL LOL! dayum that's crazy. LOL. yo, I think if John Ruiz (the boxer) played this game, he would always lose. He would always clinch and shiznite and would be DQed befo round 1 even finishes! LOL.

have you done a flash KD wit regular punches? I think I might have in carreer mode earlier like when I only had 6 wins. So fuckin funny how the guy got flush KD from a regular uppacut! It'll be less likely if your stamina isn't full, or the other guy has 100% chin (obviously)

Thats a counter punch that is supposed to happen, that is how the flash knockdowns are initiated. It can be done with fighters at the same weight if the other players stamina bar is drained and yours is still loaded. have you done a flash KD wit regular punches? you wanna know anotha EXCLUSIVE hint? To do a flash KD, the best way to do it, is use a heavier fighta gainst a smalla one. Say Cotto gainst Barrera. It may sound obvious but the trick comes here ya dig? When the smalla fighta throws a punch (any punch), u gotta lean back like how Fat Joe Joe does nah mean? Then afta you lean back, counter throw a RIGHT UPPERCUT HAYMAKER! He'll get dropped right away even if his health is bar is way up on the joint! yea thats kinda true. still a classic game though lol. I loved that game and put it in the other day and I got my ass stomped into the ground. I was use to moving and hitting and I was trying to throw haymakers. It was crazy, I definately like the moving and hitting in 02 and have become accustomed to that.

I made Lennox, and he looked so much like him it wasnt even funny. I accidently erased him though. Sucks, because he is like the only boxer I would use when playing heavyweights. I gave him a flattop like he had back in the day. LOL~! HAHAHA, I have his rookie card of his hair like that. It is classic, I do believe it has a little shave on the sides to. eX-04 was easy to beat heavyweights on, I think it was because you couldnt move and punch.

good D will get you the win, no matter what weigth class you're using....hold the L trigger, roll back to the left, and throw counter left hooks and uppercuts, you won't even have to move your feet, just keep dipping left and throw left hand counters and you can beat any fighter at any weight, on med. or hard setting it doesn't matter....if you go against a body puncher, make sure to use the right uppercut to back 'em off Thanks for the tip will have to try that, it is those fuckers who throw haymakers constantly that always get me.

I suck at defense, it is confusing as hell to me how the AI or a person can go to the body super fast and back up to the head and beat the hell out of me. I got knocked out in the 4th round against Liston, I tried Pacquiao vs Jones and didnt work. I landed a few good shots but got knocked out in the 4th his eyes were bleeding. Perhaps that was because the headbutts I had thrown after the bell. Thats harsh.

i beat frazier with marquez Yup thats a perfect example of whats wrong with video games, especially boxing games. When you can drop Lennox Lewis with Marco Antonio Barrera 12 times in three rounds somthing ain't right. :)
