In his quest for a title, who should Wladimir Klitschko fight next?

1)Tua is in deep 'cookie crumbs' himself and need to re-gain his legacy. He will not fight Vlad, nor vice-versa 2)I did not know there were Holyfiled haters.. Why do you want him killed? 3)Vitaly has already KOed Donals.. I don't see the outcome of Vlads fight being any different. For that reason, it will not be interesting for the fans to watch a re-run. But anyhow.. Vlad needs to fight either a belt holder (which is not an option) but as Torino stated 'a quest for the title' he should fight his competition for the mandatory. Donald is also one of Wlad's sparring partners...

he should fight david tua, whom everyone knows is the gatekeeper in the heavyweight division. him or evander holyfield who just wont retire and could be a nice stepping stone for wlad just like he was for ruiz and byrd. another possibility could be larry donald who beat the real deal.1)Tua is in deep 'cookie crumbs' himself and need to re-gain his legacy. ....The problem is that nobody wants to fight Wlad right now. Nothing really to gain and everything to lose. If he looked vulnerable in his last fight then guys would be lined up. He is still feared and respected enough for guys to avoid him even if they suspect he may be shot. He aint shot and everybody is gonna find that out as soon as someone in the top ten has the balls to step in with him.

The IBF rankings in april were, Title Holder, Chris Byrd #1 Monte Barrett #2 Hasim Rahman #3 Wladimir Klitschko . . . #7 SERGEI LYAKOVICH If Barrett and Rahman are already fighting, one of them will loose and get knocked down in the rankings leaving Wladimir at #2. If big brother Vitali beats the winner of the Barrett/Rahman fight, they should get knocked down leaving Wladimir at #1. Does that scenario make sense or am I missing something? If Wlad wants Byrd and the IBF Heavyweight Title what he should do is try to get a fight with either Monte Barret or Hasim Rahman because they are the #1 and #2 rated heavyweights by the IBF. If he would likely get in the #1 contender position and eventually become Byrd's mandatory, that is probably the only way Wlad Klistchko gots a shot at one of Don King's title holders. He should fight Monte Barret he is #1 contender for the IBF. Barrett vs. Rahman is for the WBC interim title.

Okay, but where does he rank in each of the alphabet boys' hallucinations? And where does The Ring rank him? And with all this talk of unification, who's gonna promote it? And more important, who's gonna buy it? Heavyweights aint zactly been tearing it up on the ppv circuit . The last time I checked he was ranked 3rd by the IBF, 2nd by the WBO, and 6th by fightnews. There is a pretty weak PPV card on July 23, and Wlad is looking to fight next in late July or early August. He could fight Ruiz on that card, but that obviously won't happen. Ruiz will probably not fight at all or he could fight Donald, TOS, Austin, or Beck who are so much more deserving than Wlad.

I'm just excited to see WK develop more from Manny's training. If he can make as much of an improvement on his foot work as the last fight, we'll see much better things from WK. One of the main problems causing him fear and getting him KO'd is his inability to move and evade. Once he squares off with his opponent and is in control, he's like a master of chess...

In continuing his dream to hold a title at the same time as his brother, who should Wladimir Klitschko challenge and why? I want him to fight Ruiz, I wanna see Ruiz try to manhug Wlad. He will eat Ruiz alive with his monster jab alone. :boxing:

i'd say byrd or ruiz for a title shot, but i also think he could take another fight next, like maybe fres, JCG, beck, or another tune up type guy... i agree with most of those guys but not juan carlos gomez, gomez beat wlad in the amatuars and is a masterful boxer and a southpaw as well, he should stay clear of a fight with the black panther
