New RJJ Interview

Well here's the interview: BT: We’ve been hearing serious rumblings that you could be coming back as early as August Roy give us the scoop RJJ: I ain’t…I ain’t coming back in August man I thought about…I thought about it but I mean these guys are looking pretty tough out hear they could handle it I’m good I think the fans are getting entertained enough fights now it was a very entertaining fight tonight for the WBC light-heavyweight title I think that was a wonderful fight between two good guys I think those guys would make a great fight against Tarver or Johnson so I don’t really see no reason for me to come back BT: You recently said that the Tarver-Johnson fight would be like a box off maybe to you, you still feel that way? RJJ: I felt that way but these guys not look like they good enough to give them a credible…credible competition if they could beat them so you know I think it’s good enough for the jab it’s credible competition. As long as there’s credible competition out there there’s no need for me to come back BT: On a scale from 1 to 10 with ten being the highest what’s the chances we see you in the ring again RJJ: Ohh.., Heh 5 BT: Okay, with the biggest money available to you is at heavyweight I mean do you feel that way or 175 you still comfortable? RJJ: I…I’m comfortable wherever you know, I mean I do what I gotta do, but I don’t know I just gotta see what happens you know what I’m sayin? He just said last week that he was still considering going back. He said it to Jim Rome and another guy. (Inside the Ropes) Roy has been speculating coming back for a while that is no surprise, but I was referring to the BS answers and attitude he gives BT in there interviews. If you have ever seen one you can tell he is like "shit on you".

roy jones was my fav figher of all time but i dont really want him to come back and get beat, if he honestly feels he could be competitive again im all for the comeback but dont come back just for the sake of coming back..... he doesnt need to prove himself to anyone and the guy is a multi millioaire.

Actually the interview is on video and I typed out the important questions and I typed EXACTLY WHAT HE SAID!!! It was funny as hell hearing him speak, especially the part he says "...it’s good enough for the jab it’s credible competition" what the hell does that mean????? Well, if anyone else is a boxingtalk member feel free to check out the vid, if I'm wrong just correct me but I've seen it several times and a lot of the shit he says makes no sense, LMAO!!! Roy is very confusing, one minute is sounds like he will comeback next minute he will stay retired. My prediction is that we will see Roy Jones Jr. is a boxing ring this year or early next.

BS first he said he didn't want to end his career like this now hes saying he might not be back. Anywyez, the more he waist the older he gets teh less chance he has of avenging his defeat. If he doesn't come back this year, he won't be back next year cuz he'll be 37.
