If you think about it, If Don King wouldnt have a say in judges scoring Lamond Brewster would be holding 3 belts right now. He would proably be the top Heavyweight in the division.
Golota beat Bryd and Ruiz easly and he lost to Brewster.
Also i dont think Golota should retire, he just wasnt prepared. I told you that it looked like he was in trouble cause of the weigh in he wore his clothes. also in the locker room he didnt looked focused like he always come in before a fight.
I think he can get a fight against Calvin Brock, Wladimir, or even Samuel Peter.
a James Toney fight can also be a possibility, since people think hes a steping stone now and Toney would definetly fight him.
so right now i have Vitali and Brewster as the top heavyweights, although i tihnk Brewster is the wrost from the bunch.
i thought that both fights were pretty close, as was byrd/fres... but for some reason some people see then as robberies... a robbery is that burton/augustus fight or lewis/holy 1....
He was robbed against Ruiz, but there's no way you can talk about the Byrd fight like it was difinitve he should have won.
It was a very even fight.
Also, IF he had won those fights, it's doubtful he would have looked to fight the WBO champion.
I thought he beat Byrd 115-113 but lost to Ruiz 114-111.
Doesn't matter, though; if he had beaten Byrd, he wouldn't have gotten a shot at Ruiz. If he had beaten Ruiz, he wouldn't have gotten a shot at Brewster.
