There's been some talk on this forum lately about how good VK is, but there's no doubt that he's the man the beat at the moment, and that he holds the legtimate heavyweight championship of the world in just about everyones eyes, but who out of the current crop of heavyweights has the best chance of beating him?
Kevin McBride will beat Tyson, and he will beat Vittali K !! just luk at the size of him !!
and look at the size of klitschko
6'8 - 6'9
approx 250 pounds
mcbride is 6'6, and first started off at around 235, now against tyson 270, he'll get hammered by vitali, if this fight ever happens, i'll be with u
Somebody please call Chris Byrd and tell him to put a hit out on this Bitch. (Once a quitter always a quitter) Get someone in the ring who Bitchko can't get his way with. Someone where he is on the losing side (behind on the scorecards or where he has to actually think to win) and he will just quit. Sorry everyone as much as Vitali has done (and trust me I actually was rooting for him in the Lennox fight) I just can't rally behind a quitter unless you are getting the hell beat outta you like Duran was vs leonard or something like that. But if you all remember Jesus Chavez fought several rounds with Erik Morles with a hurt arm. Antonio Tarver fought Eric Harding with a broken Jaw all fight long and ALi fought Norton with a busted jaw. Also Marquez kept on going even though he was almost dead vs paquio. Vitali hurt his arm in the fight against an oppnent who punches like a little kid, somone who could not hurt him. couldnt he have gone another round or two with a hurt shoulder by just using the other arm?
I feel that Rahman would have the best chance because if you all noticed the right hand is what was catching Vitali all night in the Lennox fight (it just happened to be the same fight that Vitali was catching Lennox with too) What are Rahmans only good punches? THe left Jab and right cross.
Of course Chris Byrd because when Klitcho cant hit him he will just quit. Notice how frustrated Golota was when fighting him. I must admit that fighting a guy like that would be damn annoying but several other byrd opponents didnt quit and neither did Trinidad when he couldnt even hit Winky Wright.
I figured boxing fans should be made aware of this. While Vitali was waiting around for these clowns to make their decision Ruiz signed on to fight Roy Jones because more than likely Ruiz's camp thought it would be an easier fight being that Jones was not a legit heavyweight. Vitali at the time was ranked number one by the WBA and I think #2 by the WBC.
While looking up Vitali's record I noticed this:
2002-11-23 246¾ Larry Donald 225½ 39-2-2
Westfalenhalle, Dortmund, Germany W TKO 10 12
~ Referee: Stanley Christodoulou ~
WBA International Heavyweight Title
Eliminator for WBA Heavyweight Title
Three knockdown rule ends the fight

Vitali's fight against Larry Donald was a WBA eliminator. He beat Donald so that should have put him against Ruiz for the WBA belt. However we know what probably happened. Don King was in fear of putting Ruiz against Vitali as was Ruiz. More proof that King is a motherfucker and Ruiz is a fucking pussy.
Good call! lol

He would not be a 2 round fighter if he trained. He just went to complete shit after fighting Golota, I hope you look at that file.
there's also the fact that he has already taken too much punishment already in his career, there was the douglas fight, the first holyfield fight, the lewis beating, and the williams loss, couple that with the fact he's almost 40, and you've got a fighter that should call it a day very soon
but even if he did get into great shape and came in at 225, he's still just a 2 round fighter these days, once he gets past three or four rounds he's done, he can only win a big fight if he gets an early KO, and that's very unlikely aganist VK

Tyson weighed almost a career high against Lewis. He was 234 pounds(second highest ever). After the Golota fight where Tyson weiged in at 222 pounds he went to complete shit. He fought Neilson directly after Golota at 239 pounds, Lewis at 234 pounds and Williams at 233 pounds. But prior to fighting Golota he was doing good. when he was weighing in at the low 220's against guys like Golota, Savarese etc..

i can't believe some of you guys still think tyson has it in him to beat VK, my view is that it would be the lennox lewis fight all over again

After the Golota fight he like stopped training hard. Look at the boxrec file. http://www.boxrec.com/boxer_display.php?boxer_id=000474

Imagine if Tyson never smoked weed and actually took Golota serioulsy...
Golotas head would have been knocked out
Golota is a quitter
and he will quit tonight again
How much did Tyson weigh vs Golota. Answer 222 pounds. That was by the best shape Tyson was ever in since 1996. The very next fight he was at 239 and then in the 230's for the rest of his career. his optium weight is around 219 218 220 222 pounds.
well actually golota didnt lose to tyson its a NC3 cause tyson was smoking shit :)

yes but a knockout is a knockout, it dosn't matter wheather you're knocked out cold, or the referee stops it due to unanswered punches, or it's stopped by way of TKO because the fighter has took a lot of punisment, golota is no oliver McCall, he can be hurt just like most of the other guys out there, he quit aganist tyson because he was hurt and he would of ended up getting knocked out plain and simple
Yeah if you quit like Golota did against Tyson and Grant the official ruling is a TKO. This is not deniable, this a fact. However it also not deniable that Golota has never really been knocked down and out for 10. Like Lewis has been twice. One by Oliver McCall, once by Hasim Rahman.
He was not knocked out by Tyson. He took huge overhand right in the first round. Did not knock him out though. Got up in total coherency and won the next round. Tyson did not knock him down and out for 10, nobody ever really ever has. Larry Holmes KO'd by Tyson, Michael Spinks KO'd by Tyson Frank Bruno KO'd by Tyson twice. Andrew not KO'd by Tyson or anybody.
