On back burner: Wife puts kibosh on Foreman return

George Foreman found someone he couldn't successfully pitch to--his wife on a comeback. The former-heavyweight-champion-turned-product-pitchman told Houston television station KRIV that wife Mary quashed his plans of returning to the ring for a one-fight comeback. Foreman, who has not fought in seven years, had announced in February 2004 that he was training for one last bout and would fight if he got his weight down to 225 pounds. "I got in shape, lost weight, got ready and my wife told me no," the 56-year-old Foreman told KRIV.
foreman is now 56 and imo should only fight larry holmes if he comes back for one last fight. that would be i little more even. larry has wanted to fight george for the longest time but george always says no. george wants to
If those two fought today, one of them would definetely get hurt. I would have loved to see that matchup sometime back in the 90s but not now.
