Ironically, the Tyson and Chavez bouts are PPV but all due respect, nobody gives a crap, they will both go down in the history books as one of the greatest fighters, but we all live in the present, not the past.
I'm just glad that Tzyu-Hatton is not PPV, way to go SHOWTIME! Keep it up!
I apologize, I didn't know it was PPV in the UK and I didn't mean to rub it on anybody's face. It's all about the money, the UK fans want this fight more than anybody else and the networks are just gonna take advantage of it. If I was British, it would be more than worth the money to pay for this bout.
^yeah man! Zoo-hatton is ppv for us u.k peeps what crap.
The reason for it being ppv is probably because they (showtime) think the general public wont pay to see zoo or hatton because neither are americans (which is exactly true, americans cant stomach foreign champions) and niether are huge names (because niether are american?!?).
The reason it's ppv here is because hatton is a british sporting hero, and he's as good as our boxing gets really
that is one thing i envy about america. over here in the uk sky (the major player) show fights a week after they happen (eg. Diego Corrales v Jose Luis Castillo being shown the 13th when the fight took place on the 7th). sometimes they dont even show fights. example calzaghe, one of britain's best fighters, i dont think is even going to be shown in full, just in highlights
