Fight of the Year

it has to be one of the top 10 fights of all time. i wanted corrales to win but when i saw what he was doing in the first couple of rounds i did'nt think he had a chance. great, great fight. nothing will beat it this year, possibly this decade.

I can't think of any, Foreman/Lyle was pretty close. Dude......I didn't know Foreman-Lyle happened this year ! Pretender..... There's just no way there will be another fight like that this year. There hasn't been a fight like that this decade. It was better than Gatti-Ward I & Barrera-Morales I.

Is there any way Tito/Wright can match the action in this fight? I don't think anyone can go blow for blow with tito.

Yeah, that's like saying Vida can't have one of the best asses because her ass cheeks are too big. That's what we should appreciate most! Like Corrales ability to get off the canvas after he looked done, to finish off a great fighter. In the same round no less. Not a good comparison, 'cause that Vida gal really does have a nasty, fat ass. In 4 or 5 years she'll be just another pig that used to have a pretty face. Women should be slender and proportionate, not bulbous and bulging. Yuch.

As brutal, as mind-blowing a fight as I have ever seen. This fight eclipses Gatti-Ward & Barrera-Morales because the action equaled, if not surpassed, the action in those fights...& unlike those...had a dramatic KO finish. Unbelievable ! Boxing at it's best !

How you gonna say fight of the year when it's only May! I swear every time there's a decent fight people are claiming FOTY! FOTY! Give me a break. At least wait until November before you try and predict the future...7 months early is stupid! Ruiz-Toney was better fight than this anyway! I likes the toney ruiz fight but it does not compare to this fight, not even close

I like Castillo in a rematch due to the fact that his chin is better; Castillo just allowed his chin to be worn by not fighting at all a tactical fight. Castillo will dominate the fight from the outside and go inside on occation and pick his shot on corrales and TKO him in 8 or 9

Easily fight of the year. Chico-Castillo ranks right up there with the great fights of all time.

I dont think there was ever a fight that good It was prolly better than Pryor-Arguello and Hagler-Hearns It killed Gatti-Ward, Barrera-Morales, and Holyfield-Bowe... JLC and Chico will be remembered forever....

when people said pacquiao-morales was an early favorite for fight of the year, then they were just proven wrong... this fight is going to be hard to dethrone for the fight of the year plum... props to both fighters... damn this has been a great yrear for boxing, these where both great fights

yo brother! it was a mother___ng fight!!! one of the greatest comebacks i've seen... it was a tug-of-war for the first ten rounds... and that 11th round.... two knockdowns scored by castillo but corrales never gave up.... threw successive right-left hooks... castillo going nowhere -- but to dreamland :boxing: can't wait to see the fight bro !!!
