toney weighed in at 233 that is his heaviest weight going into a fight as far as people being concerned about his weight he has always had a bit of a belly but the cup covers alot of it up so maybe people have not really noticed . the weight really does not concern me because toney has always had good stamina , the thing that concerns me is he has really underestimated ruiz and that is the worst thing you can do just ask lenox lewis . for a minute i thought you were saying Lennox Lewis underestimated Ruiz. i get it now.. :) ---------------------------------------------------------- toney has been in alot of one sided fights which hes turned around with his ko power. but this aint MW anymore. IMO its toneys biggest fight to date. & all the proof we need to see whether he can compete with the top HWs of the current crop. if toney comes through this with flying colors it would point to a v-Klitschko-james toney fight. still seems a mismatch at the moment but if Toney wins...its war

That's ok for the first few rounds then after let's say the 4th it's going to take a toll our of Tooney. Ruiz by late TKO.

It's going to be lights out for Tooney, all the excuses that he is fat but in shape are not going to be enough when he starts feeling tired and Ruiz hugs him, punchs him, kick him and wins by TKO. Or may be the strategy is to KO Ruiz in the first two rounds, that would work if they find a way to stop the hugging. I don't think so since Ruiz has made of it an art and has percectioned it to a point that boxing trainers around the world are teaching it to their fighters.

I think Toney mean't to say that he had more knock-outs than Ruiz had fights won. Or he flunked math! ;) I personally think Toney meant to say that he has fought more guys than Ruiz-Louise has molested in the ring....and that truley is saying something. I hope Toney explains to his wife that Ruiz's groping and fondling is not consented to.

The same reason Ricky Hatton is 38-0 (30KO's). Lot of bums!.. Are you serious??? He was the most active champion in the modern era at middlewieght. He put up his belt every month or two for a while. People fighting for a belt are not bums. You are rediculous.
