MANNY PACQUIAO- what the hell!! everytime he backed morales up or had him hurt he stopped? this is not the pacman that we know! every other fight of his even the agapito fight he was a freaking warrior . I believe something was wrong and they need to stop blaming people and blame his personal trainer for OVERTRAINING him and leaving his fight in the gym.plus he needed to keep going at the body the rule when the guy has a powerful chin the best way to knock him down is through the body the soft spot.
KERMIT CINTRON- let us just hope the reason he lost was because his big frame cannot handle 147 pounds anymore, I think he should move up to 154 or 160 and give that a shot the guy has massive shoulders but seems he lost his power after that hand surgery and a 9 month layoff and i bet he did not even jog every morning when he was off might be a reason for his lack of stamina in the ring, he had surgery on his hand he might have not been able to box but he should have did road work every morning and shadowboxed while recovering and keeping a good fighting weight for those 9 months instead of blowing up in weight and cutting it last minute.
MIKE ANCHONDO- What can I say opposite case of pacquiao this guy was undertrained looked like he wanted to go to bed he still has a pretty decent chin just like cintron, but he went down do to dehydration maybe or lack of stamina ie mayorga. This guy really dissappointed cause he would be so confident but looked like a zombie in the ring. coming in at 134 and losing the belt at weigh in is crazy the kid is only 5 foot 5 i dont think he would be devastating at 135 or 140 especially for his height.
Sugar Shane Mosley-weak performance he could have easily knocked out estrada why didnt he keep going to the body?
Ishe Smith-losing a 5 round fight? all credit to sergio mora but ishe's got no damn heart! all the talent in the world cannot make up for a incredible heart and will, ishe looked like he was more worried about the people in the house playing games with him then his oppenent at hand.

You're a misinformed fool.
Michael Spinks DOMINATED the lt. heavy division. He made numerous defenses.....unified the belts by beating the tremendous Dwight Quawi......& was one of the hardest hitters in history while at that weight.
He went up to heavy & became the first lt. heavy to win the heavy crown.
He's an instant hall-of-famer.
You're basing him on the Tyson fight, 'cause that's all you know of him.
Actually I was just poking a bit of fun. As the "heh" at the end of the post kinda says.
Though Michael would have actually fallen into this catagory as well....heh

I know the difference between Micahel Spinks and Corey Spinks dickhead it was a fricken typing error. Get off the internet and go back to giving Chris Byrd a foot massage you lying asshole. Anybody with any objectivity at all knows Golota owned Byrd for no less than 7 rounds. Challenging that just makes you look like a more of an ass than you already have.
I thought that fight could have gone either way.
Scoring it 8-4 for Golata is a joke.
don't question you on this??? Dude you thought Cory Spinks was Michael Spinks, Michael has been retired for over 16 years, your expertise, assuming you ever had it, just went down the toilet

The fight with Golota was not a toss up at all, the commentary was so biased against Golota on Kingvision, it was the worst promoton I had ever seen. Golota won 8 rounds to 4 on Ron Borges scorecard, Lewis' scorecard and any non blind person's scorecard. Dont question me on this I just the piece of shit biased production last night. Never will order a Kingvision produced pay-per-view ever again.

Ricardo Mayorga...
Man After the two bouts with Six heads and with Vernon Forrest this guy appeared to be the exception to all of the boxing rules.
It was apparent that he had no real boxing skils beside his wild power and his granite chin yet agaisnt a very skilled champion in Vernon it did not seem to matter.
I was expecting a lot out of Mayo, with his wild reckless style he was attracting a lot of novice fans to the sport.
Well he then then fought Corey Spinks and he laid a complete egg...even though you can make a case he won that fight and was probably jobbed on a knockdown or two from the ref.
He then was overweight and had too settle for Eric Mitchel and again he laid an egg, what was going on?
Granted he gave the fans a fun fight too watch agaqinst Tito but he also showed just how fucking stupid he is...there were many rounds where MAyo was doing very well for 2 minutes or even 2 and a half minutes..then he would get tagged and get macho and leave his chin out there for Tito to wale a way on....Again it was a great fight too watch but it just showed that this guy has no brain!
In the end Mayo will always be worth the price of admission but he could have done better had he only been given a brain to go along with that chin of his.
Even the title of this thread don't make sense. If you truly believe a fighter is over-hyped, their losses should have been "disappointments" but rather expected.
yeah but if you look at it in retrospect, for example you might not think a figher is overhyped at the time, but after he loses a couple and is exposed you then realize that you were wrong and believed the hype instead of making your own decision
The next serious opponent the overrated wonder Judah faces will KO his goofy looking ass, and KO him good and put him into short retirement. Keep fighting the Cosme Rivera's of the world Zab you know thats the only type of fighter you can beat. Cosme Rivera is like 24-7. Any half way decent boxer with some power will KO Judah. I will bet anbody that Judah will lose within in his next 3 fights.
the first 2 weren't disappointments. Even the title of this thread don't make sense. If you truly believe a fighter is over-hyped, their losses shouldn't have been "disappointments" but rather expected.
Byrd got 1 gift, vs. Oquendo, the others recently were toss-ups....
Zab is the undisputed champ, if that makes you over-rated then heck over-rate me too!

Chris Byrd sucks, he is the king of gift descisions, and biased commentary in his favor.
Most overhyped figher without a doubt is Zab Judah. I dont care if he has the belts at welterweight he got them from beating Michael Spinks, and Michael Spinks is not that good. He cant hit with any hardness whatsoever. Michael Spinks was another overhyped fighter because he carries the Spinix name.
MICHAEL Spinks??? It's Cory retard

Michael Grant has been a huge bust, but people will usually forget about Grant because Vlad Klitschko has been a much bigger bust....
I thought Dom Guinn could be a poor-man's Evander, but damn I was wrong....
Golota, need I say more....
On the flip-side, John Ruiz and Chris Byrd have been over-acheiving for a few years now, Don King is still afraid to pair the 2 together but they've both had better than average success under the DKP banner

^alot of these fighters need to be more alert in the ring, you can tell by the look on a fighters face if there confident or worried, look at margaritos face he looked so relaxed and loose and then cintron looked like he wasnt there bad case of nerves maybe. Just like pacman he looked worried and something was bugging him.
^cherry had a weak chin, they built around his story.
They did, but it looked like more than just a chin problem against Quiles. Can't remember all the details of the fight (had a few drinks that night I believe  ) but I can't even remember him connecting much, plus Quiles just toyed with him most of the time.
