lets be totally honest here, how many of you think that tyson regaining the heavyweight crown would bring boxing back? he would have it and love him or hate him everyone would watch him to either seehim crush people or get crushed.
YOUR NO BOXING FAN MATE.
wathing a fomrer great go throught the motions to pay his bills hoping for some kind of freak show.
no fan at all.
should be ashamed of yourself.
my ideal heavyweight situation is james toney holding the wbc, and wba belts and tyson holding the ibf and wbo belts
toney fine but tyson? so you slate williams for not being worthy but want scrap iron mike to win a title how does that work?
says it all really.

the guy beats an injured mike tyson and he is all of a sudden launched ito the forefront of boxing. why is that if you beat tyson you are fit for the title but tyson cant be
Yeah, you can't blame me for getting them mixed up, can you? I made up an alphabet belt the other day and no one noticed.
Hahaha
Anything beyond WBO and NABF is fringe territory IMO; and those are barely passable, if that, to most probably. From there the waters get murkier than they already are and I could see how it would be easy to make a belt up and not have it's integrity questioned; just too many of them out there.
Just out of curiosity, what alphabet belt did you make up?

CHAMP: Ruiz (WBA)
1. Hasim Rahman
2. James Toney
3. Lanc Whitaker
4. Mont Barrett
5. Nicolay Valuev
6. Corri Sanders
7. Andrew Golota
8. Jameel Mccline
9. Faruq Saleem
10. Owen Beck
11. Larry Donald
12. Gerald Nobles
13. Wladimir Klitschko
14. Lua Krasniqi
15. Sinan Samil Sam

Danny-Skelton who? What kind of crap is this? Give it to guys who deserve it or have a chance...
As it is, I don't recognize most of the names on that list other than Golota, Klitschko, Toney and Rahman. And probably with the exception of Klitschko, the other three mentioned are either washed up or second-rate fighters.
Simply put, the heavy division sucks.
Man I wish the winner of this (hopefully Toney) were to fight Golota in a unification bout. Both the winners of Golota/Brewster and Toney/Ruiz have to take on Mandatories, thats too bad.
The Toney/Ruiz fight is a mandatory so i think the winner can have a voluntary fight. The winner of Golota/Brewster will have to face the winner of the Whittiker/??? fight ( some euro dude due soon ).
But if made, i think the winner of the Brewster/Golota fight might vacate and go after the WBA title!
Somebody say ValueV should be ranked cause he is 40-0 LOL
Brian Nielson is 64-2.
I would not rank him in the Top 100 heavyweights personally.
He was 62-1 when he got crushed by Mike Tyson. LOL. What a joke. That guy fights nothing but mailmen and pool cleaners.

Ahh I see. In any case Klitschko is the real champ and if all these heavyweights are serious, they will fight him. I hope injuries do not turn Klitschko into a shadow of his former slef however.
I'm not sure I have ever heard the name Klitschko in Ruiz's mouth. If Ruiz loses to Toney he should forget about Klitschko anyway. He wouldn't be able to hug that big mofo without getting tired.
Ruiz called out Vitali in an open letter published on fightnews, and somewhere on this site. use the 'search forum' feature for it...

If he is 40-0 and not fought anybody of note then, that's a problem not a good thing!!!!
Williams has fought far better opposition.
As for Skelton , HE would actually hug the life oputta Ruiz, that's of course if anybody cared to watch LOL

I think we could do a lot better wishful thinking than hoping for a Skelton-Williams vs Toney-Ruiz winner. If there is a boxing God, then the winner of Toney-Ruiz will fight Klitschko.
I was referring to wishful thinking by the Brits. Skelton, Williams, and Harrison are all they have at heavyweight.

Name one fighter at heavyweight who deserves a shot? Williams and Skelton are about as proven as anyone else.
I also think it would make for a good fight if Toney gets in with a quick puncher(which both Williams and Skelton are)
