UNDER OATH, Hopkins RELUCTANTLY admits not fighting Tito for the 5mil he was UNDER CONTRACT to do for a rematch (breaking his contract and demanding 7mil), admitting he KNEW tito wanted and was trying to persue a rematch.
Hmm...interesting indeed. Any thoughts on this? I am personally not a big Tito or Hopkins fan.
B Hop said he didn't want the fight - I don't know why but B-Hop did the same thing when RJJ wanted to do it again - Nard actually wanted to get more money than Jones in a remach for a fight he lost! I would say he didn't want to step in the ring with Jones again, but with Tito who knows why.
Shaolin Bushido, calm down, and stop getting pyshco in here, writing like a crazy guy who doesnt get laid isnt kool, half your posts dont even make sense.
To you, maybe. Communication requires both a clear message sent AND a receiver who can UNDERSTAND what he's reading.
Now, I know that I write both clearly and logically but it doesn't surprise me in the least to hear you don't comprehend what you read.
Anyway speak for yourself as you don't know if anyone else is as ignorant as you and can't understand what they read.
Your posts are more telling than you intended, however and they are causing my eyes to bleed.
I have just the thing for that, though.
In my opinion, It was Hopkins best performance against Trinidad's worst...
Maybe, Trinidad didn't seemed to be focused, he thought he was gonna have a easy night, it was a sign when he was dancing for 10 minutes by the ring...
A rematch would be closer I believe, but Hopkins still wins a decision, Hopkins will not knock out Trinidad for sure though, Mayorga was a good test but not the best test, he showed how he changed his style a bit n stronger than b4...If he can outbox Wright, then he can beat Hopkins...
but I think the Hopkins fight will be 8-4 Hopkins
indeed it was a beating. he got outlanded by 131 punches, and was KO'd, the round before he was KO'd, he was getting a serious assbeating.
In my opinion, Hopkins destroys Tito any night...
Hopkins is a ring tactitian
total domination...ok, but a beating? C'mon...
That fight most have been Tito's worst performance (20 something punches by rnd) and Bernard's best..

First round----Both fighters starting slow
2nd-11 hopkins easily outboxes him and fucks trinidad up
12th round- Hopkins hits Trinidad with a looping right hand that sents trinidad to the canvas (without lettin anyone see tito says "no mas" lol jk)
I mean if Tito can beat Winky who is definately a good boxer, then he will have a chance at B-HOP maybe
Geeee, sounds so exciting  thats okay..I will watch it anyway ;)
Actually, I'm leaning toward Tito in the match with Winky
Wow, I already wanted to watch that fight..but after reading all the input from everyone (from both sides) I wont rest til I see it..hmmm, I do believe I have it downloaded!
I'll have to post an opinion once I've watched it of course! :D

you right,
come on Trinidads first fight wasnt even close
he didn't even win 1 round....
how is that exactly gonna change
Hopkins was toyin with him
Tito got owned......

I dont know about Tito fans, but if a boxer gets outlanded by double his punches landed, I would call that TOTAL DOMINATION.........
Trinidad Punches Landed-129
Hopkins Punches Landed-260

Well they had a middleweight tournament...And don't give me that TOTAL DOMINATION BS, yes he lost most of the rounds, but he wasn't getting beat the hell out in every round, He got hurt once I think in the 6 or 7 rnd and when he got KD in the 12 (btw he got up right away but his father stopped the fight)...

Hopkins Punches Landed-260 (Hopkins also landed the hardest, most telling punches of the fight as well.)
hmm
Tito was totally dominated by Hopkins. It doesn't have to be a severe beatdown to be domination. Tito was outfought on the inside and outboxed on the outside repeatedly. Hopkins completely schooled Tito for the entire fight with Tito having a short-lived bright spot now and then.
So he fought Allen three times cause hes five-dimensional?
The way you guys make excuses for Hopkins is sad. :(
the way some of you cannot accept Tito being schooled is sad...you act like Hopkins has only fought Allen his entire career...you might as well get on fighters of the past fighting each other 3-7 times
Good question, but look at all these heavies coming out of retirement now that Lennox is gone...some of them are fighting for bs belts too, and I asked myself that very same question
Btw..how the muscle Jack?
It stopped...thank god :)
Maybe cuz there was a rematch clause...He fought the best from 147 to 160 and lost to the best..Doesn't he deserves at least that?
Let me say it like this, If Floyd lost to Gatti, Does he deserves an inmediate rematch with Gatti or fight till he becomes mandatory?
It depends how the fight plays out. But if Floyd loss to Gatti the same way Trinidad loss to Hopkins (Total domination from bell to bell, topped off with a KO), Mayweather should have to become a mandatory to get a rematch (I really don't see the connection, because Mayweather had to become a mandatory for Gatti in the first place.) Trinidad didn't have to become a mandatory to get his first shot at Hopkins.
Why does Trinidad thinks he is too good to climb up the ranks the hard way in order to become a mandatory to get another shot at the guy who already beat him?
