Ike Ibeabuchi has never been floored 9 times. He is what could have been the next Mike Tyson. Well, if he was out to become the next Tyson, he got off to a good start, though personally I feel he should've waited a few years before being convicted of rape and starting his own prison sentence. And I can understand Ike wanting to do everything "better" than Tyson, but I believe it would've been smart to allow Tyson to be his better where sentence lengths are concerned. Just my opinion, you understand.

I totally disagree. If Bryd didn't have power why would Golota be bent over so much in this picture. He never got hunched over like this in the Ruiz fight. Except that it WAS in context when saying McCline was reluctant and hesitant IE afraid of getting hit by Byrd. Once again, watch the fight. McCline was constantly cowering and pulling back like Byrd was Mike Tyson. Your sarcasm is completely unjustified in regard to that fight. McCline fought like he was the one at a 50lb disadvantage.

Byrd never hurt Golota during their fight or ever in even came close to hurting him. Golota tripped over his feet on the ropes in the 2nd round and it had nothing to do with Byrd punching him. Byrd was bent over all night putting his gloves on canvas cringing from Golota's body shots. Byrd took serious punishment in that fight. His eye was messed up bad from a punch he took in the 12th round and he was pounded the body mercilessly, those body shots were killing him. When I guy bends over and puts his gloves on the canvas clearly cringing from a body shot I dont know how you dont call that knockdown. That was Golota's fight by Majority descision, but Melvina Latham gave Byrd round 12.

I dont like Byrd because he is wearing Golota's belt.

Chris Byrd is doing the same thing Roy Jones was/is, he is fighting in a heavier division than he should so he can take advantage of his superior foot and handspeed. That being said, he is a very talented and skilled fighter that few seem to appreciate, even I wanted Holy to knock his head off lol

what do people think of chris bryd? is a guy that fights the way he does bad for the heavyweight division in the same way that ruiz is with his partcular style? or is it a case of styles make fights and he is a good thing? CB is fine... he is fun

McCline was wincing before Byrd hit him, and pulling back like he was in the ring with Tyson. It wasn't a comment saying Byrd has power (of course he doesn't), but that McCline is a giant coward. He does not fight like he's 6'7 270. That was my point.

Vitali (like Holyfield) hurt his shoulder swinging at, and missing Byrd. Say what you will about Byrd, he's a small guy in the ring with super Heavyweights. I'd like to see a lot of these other Heavyweights in with guys as much bigger then them as they are Byrd.
