thoughts on fight night round 2

Hearns and Pryor fought in the amatuers a few times I believe. I will ask the guys about it when Im down there next time. I am not so certain that Hearns was ducking him. I'll get the scoop..........Rockin' :boxing: Hearns and Pryor did fight once for the olympic trials and Pryor did beat him, Hearns was one of those guys who just changed from ams and pros and didnt have that power at amateur I would love to see Hearns-Pryor as well Rumblin Rockin Promotions will bring it to us!!

AAron Pryor is so cool its not even funny. He was a ridiculous threat to anyone in his prime, and is the most explosive fighter in history under 150 lbs. He threw uncanny combinations of punches with bad intentions, and I will never forget the way he would point at opponents. That guy was flat out ridiculous, and the stereotype of a crazy fighter. My goodness. He was borderline Unbeatable in his prime. That is why SRL and Hearns ducked him, they could not withstand his ruthlessness. Ya man, it's a shame how he's SOOOOO underrated Only if he never got addicted to coke Leonard-Pryor, now that's the fight i wanted to see and would've been great for both of them, unfortunately it never happened With Rumblin Rockin promotions we will see the fight!

I agree wholeheartedly about stamina and punch effect, in fact, WHERE are the one-punch flash knockdowns EA bragged about when the game came out? I have never seen anything CLOSE to a one-punch flash KO, always me or the other guy continually nailing the opponent until FINALLY one of us goes down. And stamina, sheesh. My created boxer is a middleweight who can throw 175 punches per round for 12 rounds and while the stamina meter goes down alot, I shouldn't be able to do that for more than 2-3 rounds before I'm out of gas. As for 4D Boxing, I LOVED THAT GAME! I've looked for a way to get it back on my new comp, but I haven't had it since like 1996 and have no idea where to find it now... I have had a couple of flash "one punch" knockdowns, by me and against me as well....

Metal Gear Solid is the greatest video game ever made, Far. And away. The best series of video game ever released on a console system. I designated months of my life playing that game when I was in High School. Best storylines as well. Have that japanese guy yelling "snake" stuck in my "skull area". i personally think it is the best video game ever the haymaker feature as well as career mode are very cool any replies Metal Gear Solid 3:Snake Eater is the greatest video game ever made, but FN round 2 is the best boxing game and one of the best sports game I've ever played. The boxers still take way too much punishment before getting hurt, but it is fun as fuck. And deep.

Fight Night is cool - I just hate how stamina basically means nothing in it - you can have heavyweights throwing over 60 haymakers per round, with no ill effects later in the fight. Also, punches do way too little damage when they connect. Heavyweights can get crushed by 4 or 5 straight haymakers and not even be seriously hurt. My favorite boxing game was an old PC game called 4d boxing - I still think it holds up today as one of the most realistic boxing games around. they should add.eastman,calzaghe,tua,hamed,woods,and hav a prime forman with the afro any everythin then i would get it but same style as first fight night,knockout kings was the best especially 99 So out of all the boxers you can choose to put in the game, you chose the biggest bums, Calzaghe, Eastman, and Woods....Why cuz their all from England??? I think the haymaker ruins the game. In career mode on hard all the computer does is throw 10 haymakers in a row so even if you have good defence you still get knocked out, and the most you could throw is maybe 3 in a row. For the next fight night they should't make haymakers so strong or they should make it a special like you have to gain enough of something to throw one. Everything else in the game is good though.

Its a great boxing game but there are definitley adjustments to made for next year.
