Renowned cutman Lenny De Jesus claimed yesterday that Manny Pacquiao "didn't lose that fight against Erik Morales, his corner lost the fight." De Jesus who was commended for doing a tremendous job on the nasty gash suffered by Pacquiao due to an accidental headbutt told Manila Standard Today that trainer Freddie Roach "was shaking all over" after Pacquiao suffered the cut and didn't even allow him to take the center spot in the corner "to attend to the bad cut" which was the right thing to do.
In stark contrast De Jesus said the Morales corner was "calm, cool and collected and did the right things."
De Jesus came out in the open to claim that he had "to work around" Filipino trainer Buboy Fernandez and leaned in to attend to Pacquiao's cut. De Jesus lamented " I should have had more leverage, more chance to fix the cut and stop the bleeding. I was kept away to one side by Freddie (Roach)."
The Puerto Rican cutman who has worked in corners for some 40 years said Pacquiao is "still a marketable fighter because fight fans like bloody fights and Manny fought his heart out." De Jesus also criticized Roach for not allowing him to "water down" Pacquiao because "this keeps a fighter fired up but Roach told me Manny didn't like it."

I applaud Lenny for a marvelous job done on the cut of Manny. However, considering the source of the article, Ronnie Nathanialiez, the article has no credibility. Ronnie is on the payroll of Murad and has been defending Murad from his unethical actions for the duration of him being Manny's promoter. Manny has already made it known about Ronnie and how he would make shit up. As a matter of fact, Ronnie played a critical role in Manny resigning with Murad, stating that he will never fight under HBO if he does not. Ronnie is a leech and a wannabe Filipino. He will be dealt with. I think he should consider taking residency in another country or get some protection. This guy was Marcos' puppy and is now currently Murads.
All great fighters lose and I think people are making too big of a deal about Manny's defeat. If it ain't the gloves than it's the pressure from his country. If it's not that then it's his corner or Roach. Damn! Didn't the great Morales loose any fights in the past??! Let this crap go and look towards the future cause Manny's young and he has many battles in the ring that await him.
Amen to that
He lost
why does anyone have to
keep giving excuses
a loss is a loss no matter what
so just get over it and prepare for the next fight.

Agree. No explanation needed. He lost the fight.
He hasn't really lost his stock.

i thank lenny de jesus for his GREAT JOB on Manny's cut!
saw Pac being interviewed yesterday and barely 10 days after the fight Manny was looking good already...
back to the subject, this finger pointing is part of the circus that is now TEAM PACQUIAO, there is two sides of the coin here, would love to see heads roll...
czar & air you hit it both, PAC do need to do what you said, but its a lot easier said than done ...
i'll say it again... he should do what morales did for their fight... drop all personnel not related to boxing... ditch all people around him whose work are redundant...
Im with you there bro.
