Boxing observers occasionally ponder if a pugilist has left a piece of himself in the ring, especially after the kind of war that takes its toll on a man, leaving him weary both physically and mentally.

The only way Juan Marquez can recover is for him to fight Pac again :p It's either he redeem himself from that cowardly act of refusing to fight or he'll live under Pac's shadow the rest of his career.
Marquez is far from being a coward. He showed a lot of heart in his fight with Pacquiao, which I thought JMM should've won on points. It was close because of the 3 knockdowns in the first, but JMM won enough rounds collectively and accumulated enough points the way I saw it, and should have won. Marquez put on a boxing clinic and exposed Pacquiao as a one-dimensional fighter. Pac looked like a rookie for most of that bout. His head was getting snapped back viciously from the jabs and straight rights Marquez was slamming into Pac's face. They need to bring back 15 round fights; Marquez would've won it hands down if there were.

And Marquez WANTS to rematch:
“I’m as good as Morales and Barrera, and just need a good promoter to get me fights against those guys to prove that I belong with the elite boxers of the world. I also want to finish my business with Manny Pacquiao because I know that I beat him.”-Juan Manuel Marquez
"I expected a tough fight, and that's what it was, a very tough fight. But you don't win the fight in one round. He did win that round big, but I thought for the rest of the fight I dominated. They gave me a draw, but it should have been a victory. I feel good because I thought I won, but more than anything, I know the people enjoyed this fight, and I am happy to have given this performance." - JMM
One can know how to fight Manny and still have trouble with him. Vernon Forrest knew how to fight Ricardo Mayorga in their second go-around, but the result was still a victory for the foul-mouthed former champ.
Still, both Morales and Marquez have shown that an intelligent boxer can give Pacquiao fits, and hence Pacman will need to work out those kinks so that it doesn't continue to happen.

What makes me worried is that after the Pac fight JMM has already learned how to fight Pac and after the EM loss of Pac JMM must have gained more confidence in returning to the ring with JMM. Both fight can go either way.
