It Seems that Trinidads opponents are fighters that only proved themselves against one other person, such as Mayorga's KO and MD against Vernon Forrest. Mayorga came up in weight to fight him at 160 and Mayorga wasnt as fast as he usually was.
Same with Winky Wright, he has Shane Mosley's number. He fights
at 154 and now 160 to fight Trinidad. Do you think it will have any effect on him?
winky was a huge 154 pounders , he will be an avereage midlleweight , like tito . the weight is not a factor.
With one difference. The fact that Trinidad is a big puncher at 160 while Wright does not even hit hard in his natural weight class.
what i meant to say was trinidads last opponents are opponents are fighters with one big win behind them such as mayorga, and now Wright
There are not many options at 160. Only Taylor(who is fighting Hopkins), Sturm, Eastman(who just lost to Hopkins), or some other unknown with a meaningless regional belt or made up title. I would have preferred Taylor or Sturm but I guess Wright was my third choice.
winky will beat tito and moving up to 160 wont affect him, but thats all he wil lebat big at 160 is tito :)

This guy is way off topic. I am not looking for Sturm nuthuggers.

Trinidad's name was built on far more than just beating fighters with one big win behind them
He's beaten a stockload of quality fighters.
Oba Carr, Hector Camacho, Yory Boy Campas, Pernell Whitaker, Oscar De La Hoya, David Reid, Fernando Vargas, William Joppy, and Ricardo Mayorga among others.
I think this will be a tough fight for my man, Trinidad because Wright is very skilled. However, I think that Trinidad will win in the end due to his power and relentless attack. Wright is going to lose but the weight won't not be the reason why.
