I Might Be One Of The Biggest Chavez Fans Ever, But I Agree This Guy Shouldnt Be Fighting Anymore, Try Promoting Instead.
And Hopefully In The Future His Son ( Chavez Jr. ) Can Bring Us Some Quality Fights. I Guess We Are Just Going To Have To Wait And See What Happens.
He's got a little bit of Holyfield in him too. I'd rather just see him start training fighters or managing or something if his he can't satisfy his love for the ring. He's a tru warrior but when it's time, it's time. Everyone has to call it quits no matter how much it hurts at some time
I have bought tickets to this fight, and I believe the fight will be a war.
If any of you saw the Chavez vs. Randall III fight, it was a tough action packed fight. Chavez fought hard for all 10 rounds, and his conditioning was not a factor. This fight will be a good tough farewell fight. Robinson will not be able to hurt Chavez, and Chavez will be pressing very hard to make the fight a inside war. I see this fight to be entertaining, with a lot of give and take action.
The Undercard makes this fight card worth it.
Jesus Chavez vs. Famoso Hernandez is a good match-up
Chavez Jr is fun to watch, even if his competition is not the greatest.
I am sure that I am not alone in thinking that Chavez Sr. has chosen a tough guy to fight at this stage of his career. I give Chavez props for choosing Robinson.
I think ivan Robinson will have such an easy night with Chavez. We know Chavez doesn`t train anymore, remember the fights with Wise...remember the fight with Gonzalez...Were all gonna make allot of money in May, Ivan Robinson is reported to have started pre - training already and is taking this as his big break, you think he trained hard for Gatti, wait and see this!
iono bout that... chavez jr. got skills and i think he will do good when he gets a lil bigger... cuz he's still green and scrawny... but give him a few years he'll be up there...
Hopefully Robinson beats him down so that we don't get any more Adios. Enough already. By the way, Chavez Jr. won't be carrying on any legacy, wait and see. He gets knocked out, the first real puncher he faces.
