Whats the thoughts for this fight? He`s fighting that middleweight those pretty high in the IBF rankings. I think he`ll win but we might get an indication of what he`s got left.
Vargas Rules!!! He's a true warrior. I don't care what anyone says.
Also James Toney, and Erik Morales and Hopkins. They are all warriors. I don't care what you guys say.
Even though Joval is a natural 160 pounder, he's still not as strong nor does he fill the weight as thoroughly as Vargas. Vargas at times looked a little soft at 154. I always wondered if it was a business move to fight at that weight. Anyways, he should make this a one fight thing at 160 unless he somehow wrks his way into another payday w/ trinidad or hopkins and gets eaten up
Probably the case. I think he might see another title match if he is matched safely but imagine if they put him in with HOPKINS!!! They might have to give the fight an R rating!
He tends to move to 154 where the division is full of slick boxers. NOT good for Vargas.
160 will be to much, any top opponent will outbox or outslug (tito) him.
He might be young but he isnt fresh and has to many miles on him, remember his comeback last year against Vanderpool? Yeah it wasnt even that great looking. After several injuries and bulging up, I cant see Vargas having much of an impact due to his injuries that are still ongoing (back problem is what I am talking about). Also referring back to him having to many miles on his mental age for the sport.
I would love to see Vargas get back in the mix, but it isnt likely in my view.
Vargas hasn't fought for more than a year, so he's ringrusted. Joval wants to face Hopkins, so he knows what he's gotta do to. Joval is not an easy opponent and the question is how Vargas will fight with a recoverd back injury. I think this fight will go to a decision.
Athough vargas got he butt handed to him by Tito, I think he can still come around and take this guy. If he matured during his time off he will take this guy.
Well run my boy, lets hope so. I think Vargas is shot but i hope not! I don`t think Joval will show anything actually, as he can`t hit hard enough. But maybe the lay off helps Vargas recover from recent wars? He deserves the chance to show it!
Whats wrong with you? Are you disturbed or...under the age of 14 or something? Why say something like that?

you shut the fuckup too faggot
Raymond Joval is a sturdy opponent, who may bring a slick element that Vargas has not faced in a while. He is the lesser opponent though, and Vargas will have very little trouble in breaking his will. Joval can not crack hard enough to get Vargas out of there, and I doubt he can withstand flurries from the ferocious one.
as for him being finished as a fighter. I completely disagree.
Vargas has years ahead of him. Do not forget how young he is,
and who he lost to, and in what fashion. He is an absolute warrior who can dominate the 154lb division with the proper training.
Simply put: Just wait and see. you will be impressed. I gauruntee it.

settle down Nancy-boy, most would agree with the Jinx on this one, Nando most likely will never be at the top of the fight game again, even if he gets a few title shots and a few million-dollar paydays

Spinks is the only one done.
as for vargas i hope he feels better and works hard maybe he can still do something. well find out.
Vargas is done as a top contender. Simple as that.

I've seen Joval once, he got dominated by Sam Soliman for 12 straight rounds, I think Vargas should get a KO win inside 6 rounds but Nando's chin is pretty shaky so we'll have to see....
