No question Pac showed "warrior" heart on Saturday night.
It will now be interseting to see Pac's response to having "gone to war" for twelve rounds, as the top Feathers often do. I wonder if warrior Pac will keep up with the other warriors at feather when he faces one or more 12 round wars at the hands of a Mexican?
Maybe it's the next fight that Pac will suddenly look "old", because of the mental game that gets played-out in his head, when he realizes "shit, that guy just took my best shot again".
Pac needed this win and would not be well advised to go straight to a rematch with Erik. In either case, I see Pac loosing to all three Mexicans in his next fight, if he chooses one of them. Barrera has been quite quiet, knowing his time will come, when he'll show Pac that he was, in fact, "not himself" in their first fight. I not sure tat I belive him, but I think Pac should be talking to Barrera's people right now. It the safest of the possible "wars" he will face.
My question mark on Barrera at 130 or lower has to do with his first fight with Manny. I thought he looked like shit and believed that his training was responsible. Call me stupid or call me naive, but that wasn't simply a "style" issue against Manny, I thought he looked bad in the first minutes and it just got stranger man.
But, what if it was all about styles and Barrera just had excuses? NAHHH! Barrera doesn't make excuses for losses, he just told it like it was, right. I'm not sure.
So, the dilemna is simple. Barrera wins if he was in fact coming off a bad camp in that first fight. He loses if it was truly about styles. He can win, if he's able to fight a different fight.
I kinda see it the same way but i can't be sure. Only a rematch where barrera looks the way he did in the third Morales fight will tell. I'd pay to see pacquiao fight either of the three mexicans, but the fight that i'd rather see is against barrera, cant wait till they set it up.

personaly it hink it was combination of bad training and bad style
MAB can have trouble with fighters
but hes the type that can adapt
and like ya said
in that fifht he couldnt
proably cuz of bad training
thats why is till favor him over pac
Manny needs to learn how to fight the way Barrera fought Morales - fight inside. Smother the punches, throw some uppercuts. If he adds these to his aresenal, he'll stand a better chance against Morales.
but thats the thing
he cant
he only fights one way
ive said b4
i think his best shot at this point
is just to try to perfect his own style
not try to turn into a boxer
hes a come forward kinda fighter
and thats all he'll ever be
sometimes it can work
but more often den not
it wont against the top guys
idk
if theres a MAB rematch dont ya think itll be at 130
i mean mabs got a title thier
and its usually better to fight for a title
altho the 1st fight he had no problem leaven the belt
but at 130 i say MAB easy
at 126 i say MAB in a tuffer fight

Manny is defintely one of the ultimate warriors of the sport. But I think in his next fight he should train in a secluded area (like area 51 lol) so he can properly train and rest and avoid distractions (no press no fans).
Manny and his team can have all the seclusion, training and rest they like and Morales still wins.
Manny's improved training situation will not improve his power, because he's already peaked in that department. Morales' chin is not going to suddenly shatter the next time around, IMO.
For every day of "ideal" training that Manny has, so will Erik. Then the training ends, and the fighting begins.
Agreed. Manny showed all the warrior stuff imaginable last Saturday, but I don't believe he can keep rollin' through 12-rounds of war, followed by another 12-rounder, and then another, like Morales and Barrera have done. My guess is that Manny won't ever beat Morales or JMM, but might get a decision against Barrera.

thats why erik was able to play with him as much as he did
no doubt a pre jmm pac would have still lost to erik

Well if it is, it's gone high enough for a kid who started at 106. But I'm pretty sure we'll see him back. Pit him with another slugger/puncher and you got yourself a good fight.
exactly
but unfortuantly for him
the top guys are more then just sluggers
def brings spice
and i hope he can bounce back
hes fun to watch
but i really just think hes gone as high as hes gonna go

We'll see. Time will tell. But trying to outbox Erik Morales ain't exactly the simplest task specially coming from a natural brawler and loosing to the latter is nothing to to be ashamed off, heck wha 47 fighters suffered the same fate. Hopefully he can bounce back, he brings spice into the devision.

askin for a rematch doesnt mean hes the same
im pretty sure taylor wanted a rematch and got it later
but nuff bout taylor
i just think that when pac left that ring he wasnt the same
as much as he tries to be
he just isnt
add the fact that his styles simply been figured out
at this point i think its best for him to just try to perfect his own relentless robotic attack
and hope for the best
he wanted so much to box and show he wasnt one dimensional in this fight
and hes just failed miserably

Nah he rallied against JMM. And he went for broke in this fight. He asked for immediate rematches in both fights so why would he do that if he was having doubts in himself. But I do agree that he had an epiphany against Morales, not so much as "Maybe I shouldn't be boxing", the guy accomplished a lot already even in his early career, but more like "I can't run over everyone like I pressumed"

im not comparenthe beaten itself
but it looked like pac realized he doesnt have musch to offer
i mean look at him in those last rounds
he looks like hes haven an epiphany
"maybe i shouldnt be a fighter"
he was just battered to the body and upstairs
and he just had the same happen again in this fight

Taylor took a beating in the Chavez fight. Broke facial bones and his urine was blood red. Chavez physiclaly beat the fight out of Taylor. Didn't happen against JMM. The latter might have given the blueprint but definately didn't break Pac as a fighter.

me and my dad were tlakin about this
and we came the conclusion that jmm broke pac
like chavez broke taylor
he just wasnt the same after that fight
erik just sorta finished it
but he still has the warriors heart

Pacqiao is a warrior, and i believe he can beat marquez and maybe barrera again, since barrera is getting a little old..but i am not sure if he will be able to beat erik morales in the near future...whats amazing about morales is that he has been in so many wars..and still comes out big in every fight. Paqiao has to prove that he is capable of the same.
