Chavez Jr looks like another fraud to me,living off his fathers name.He has 17 Pro fights,so why is he still fighting garbage type fighters that would be good enough for any normal prospects pro debut or maybe first 5 fights.I say Chavez Jr has 30wins against nobodies before getting exposed by a top10 fighter.
Fraud?
The kid is 19 years old!!!! Only time will tell how good he will be, but right now it's hard to tell. All I know is he throws short compact punches intead of wide punches, so that's a plus.
Check back in 3 years, then we can see what he has.

hes ok still has a way to go before he proves anything. vargas at his record had done way more.
vargas also had an amateur record of 100 wins and 5 losses. chavez jr. didnt have a strong amateur career
He will always be living in the shadow of his father.
He will have to work twice as hard and accomplish twice as much to get out of that shadow. That's what happens when somebody follows a great mans footsteps.
The better thing he can do is ignore the past and his fathers accomplishments, and build he own legacy, instead of following the footsteps of his father.
Throughout history, people who had great and respected superiors, failed miserably trying to accomplish what his/her superior did, and the public will expect them to do so...
But the people who ignored the past, and actually hated their great predecessor (in many times it was their own father), ended up being great legends.

i dont think hes tryin to take vargas career path
who wants that career
lol
hed be done at 26 fights
lmao
Yeah, great skill, still untested though because almost no ametuer career, so hes going to keep fighting nobodys for a while, even that tho will polish him up some, his natural skill will take him the rest of the way,IMO.
He`s living off the name right now. Hey, wouldn`t you love to see him in with Hector Camacho Jnr, the two sons battling it out, though i think Chavez hammers Chamacho jr it`d sell massive ppv!
He still has a long way to go!! If it wasn't cause his Chavez's son, I mean, in my opinion he should had been the fight to open up the ppv last night!!
