I saw it this way. Morales was always better tactically, and would have won either way tactically over Manny because Manny is always brawler first and let's say that show he put on vs Barrera was a once in a life time performance. The problem I have is that, we don't know what would have happened because he landed some really nice shots, and Morales was hurt afew times. Could his gloves have made a difference? The world will NEVER know.
The gloves should not even be a topic here, if Morales' camp did not insists that Pacman wear the same gloves as Erik.
If he likes the brand, why he likes his opponent to use it too?
Why Erik cannot fight an opponent wearing a different glove? Why?
He did this to MAB then to Pac. I'm sure he gonna force his future opponent to do the same if they don't look at the fine print of the contract.
punchers gloves or not... Pac still would have lost the fight... EM was just bigger, looked stronger and he fought a smart fight... it was a great fight all around but it was clearly Erics boxing skills that dominated the night... that being said.. Kudos to ERIC for a brilliant showcase of boxing skills and smarts.. and Props to Manny for moving up in weight to fight a top caliber superfeather weight, he showed courage and heart... and i beleive he has proved some critics that he isnt one dimensional... Manny needs to stay at 126.. he looked slower than usual last night but it was a great test for him at 130... he needs to concentrate on JMM or MAB... will MAB move down to 126 to fight Pac?
My thoughts exactly. I don't know where the head movements went and in-out rythm though. He stood there in front of Morales. MAB would be asking the rematch be done at 130 though seeing as how Pac looked heavy and sluggish. If it does happen, Pac better come in at 134-135 like he ususally does. 139 is too much...
that would be stupid to say pacman was rocked way more than morales so if they used the punchers gloves then pacman would of eat the canvas a few times or even been ko'd.
No. i think the gloves don't matter really. but i do believe it's the cut in the 4th that bothered Pac a little, blinding his right eye which made it hard to stop that left jab from EM.

No, otherwise I'd have said "From what I've seen" instead of "from what I've read". I got a pretty good round by round, though. Wasn't Morales able to land his right at will through most of the first half of the fight?
Both guys were able to land plenty of punches. Pac landed more power punches though.

This thread's only purpose is to bash Pacquiao and his fans. Us fans don't give any excuses to why Pacquiao lost. Morales is the better fighter that night. Period.
This stupid thread should be deleted and the user who started this should be banned.
Would Pacman have won, had he used the puncher's gloves?
P.S. He had the right sox on him this time, I gather.
Why can`t people just live with the fact that on the night morales was better!
Ugh, why post something like this? If "puncher's gloves" had been used, from what I've read about how easily Morales was able to put leather on Manny, the KO probably would've been the other way 'round.

Have you watched the fight?
