What you should do is find some hard gum, or special rubber and chew it for select hours a day. The harder the object to chew the stronger your jaw will become. Movement from inside your mouth against tough objects will strengthen it.
A theory that I liked to share.
Holyfield is not a tough a chin as you all seem to think. Ruiz damn near knocked him out with 1 punch-I ain't seen Ruiz in any of the biggest punches threads. There are more examples of Holyfields chin not being as good, but I can't be bothered to type it all out. Some fool on this forum once said that the only reason that Bowe stopped him was because he was exausted,.........don't talk shit, Bowe stopped him because he rattled his brain!!! Exausted, yeah right!!! As if. Later brother brologs.

Yeah, but Im thinking of that way to improve your chin. Besides your chin is basically your jaw, by strengthening your jaw you will be able perhaps to absorb a shot better.
Look at a Volkswagen Beetle. They are designed round, and can take a hit better than cars equal their size. Look at Evander Holyfield's head. It is big, and round. You have to hit him with a sledgehammer to hurt him. Its all about how you are built. Strong neck, yes you can improve that. You cant change physics though.

I thought that you said you were going to register which would mean that you were going to fight. At your weight class you will wear 10oz gloves. If your going to fight you will not be able to avoid it forever. Even in the fights that you win you will get your lumps..............Rockin'

once you get into the fighting part of it with the 10oz gloves you will know what Im talking about with seeing the white haze. Then if you ever fight with the 8oz pro gloves you will know exactly what I am talking about.........Rockin'

The shots to the front, but more so to the side, of the head cause ones equalibrium to go and they will fold and lean to all different directions. Thats why Bowes knees buckled.
The shots directly to the chin will cut off your motor impulses and make you see what I call the white. The white haze that takes over your vision. The shots to the chin are the cleanest knockouts in boxing. If you see the shot coming your body seems to set for the shot therefore not neccesarily dropping you, but you will see the white. Its the ones that you dont see coming, ala the uppercuts, that will drop you quickest and hardest.

No doubt the ones on the chin will cause u to see the "white" mainly becuz the chin is like the focal point of the movement of the head...kinda like the handle, a shot to the chin will cause the head to jar more than any other place...The ones on the jaw usually cause more pain than any real "white" visions..........I never fought on paper, but I been into boxing for about 5 or 6 years now, I plan on finally getting registered very very soon, at about the 155 amateur class...I walk around at about 162 and i figure after training and gaining the mass that will come from boxing training as well as losing the undesirable water weight i'll be just right at 155.

A few fights to refer to:
Golota's first knockdown of Riddick Bowe, you'll notice that the punch wasnt all that hard or accurate, it landed around the hairline/scalp area...but the head jerk caused Bowe's legs to become unstable and he went to the ground.
Moorer's knockdown of Jirov, you'll notice how it was a well placed basic right hand that caused that head jerk and Jirov's legs became unsteady and he fell to the ground.
Actually Ali may have been the epitome of what i'm talking about when i say it takes a strong neck and head control...Notice how he was able to take Frazier, Shavers, Quarry and Foreman's punches and still be able to tell them how soft they punch afterwards...simply becuz he prevented his head from jerking around most of the time, with the exception of that one Frazier hook which visibly proved my theory that it isnt the chin alone becuz Ali's eyes rolled back.........right now though i'd say examples of this neck/head control is Ray Mercer and James Toney, people wonder y they were never visibly hurt ever in pro fights, i believe its becuz they simply dont let their head bounce around.

Just look at Gatti, his neck is huge(for his weight class), and a punch easily rocks him. I don't think it has to do with the chin or the neck at all really.
