jab that works!!!!many taller fighters had an advantage to pull this thing over to his opponent.although they have no capabilities to knock e'm out their opponents.some of them impressed the judges and took their attention. how about the other fighter who had a determination to win and give his best to the fight?
Indeed these days good jabbr is impressed the judges and took their attention in 10 point must rules. continuaus quick jabs seems more effective than a few strong punches to the judges decisions.
So to win the bouts boxers must practice good jab like strong ,not countered by enemy, especially speedy one.
one of the fighters that I remembered for having a crisp effective jab was Thomas Hearns. That mans jab was like a whip. Sugar Ray Robinson, of course had a great one as well. He would control a fight with his jab. Constantly pounding it to the face of his opponents........Rockin'
what made hearns jab great is the way he kept his jab hand at his waist, his opponents werent used being jabbed at from that angle

how about a fighter who only by using his jab...when his opponent tries to toe toe he step back and take a  jab or hit and run...what do you think? the referee would favoured that kind of style?
