Tyson vs Mirovic?
By Ray Wheatley -- World of Boxing
Mike Tyson (50-5) could be matched against Australian heavyweight Bob Mirovic (25-13-2) in Washington D.C. on June 20. If Mirovic wins his scheduled bout against Timo Hoffman on the undercard of WBC super middleweight title showdown in Germany featuring Marcus Beyer and Danny Green on March 12 he could face Tyson. Tyson's new trainer Jeff Fenech said, "Mike's manager Shelley Finkel has given Bob the OK and I will be talking to Mike about Bob tomorrow. Bob is a very credible opponent who almost stopped Danny Williams and also went the distance with (WBA rated) Nicolay Valuev in 2003." Both Mike Tyson and Bob Mirovic were stopped by Danny Williams in round four - Tyson in 2004 and Mirovic in 2003.

What happened to Buddy Mcgirt? All we heard about was how Mcgirt was complimenting Tyson on his commitment and blah blah blah and all we heard from Tyson fans was that Mcgirt was going to help resurrect Tyson and blah blah blah. Tyson will not do anything unless he commits to stabilizing his life and training procedures.
I think he's gonna injure himself again, man. I've read reports talkin about how he wasn't doing his recouperation routine thing. I hope I'm wrong, though. Why'd he leave Freddy Roach????? Looking at his last fight aside from hurting his knee it looked like Roach had him fightin ill again......hope Fenech dones Tyson some good.
We all know what a disciplined and mentally focused Tyson can do even at 38. But due to his last few returns to the ring, I can only say............ Let's see what happens!!!
i'm a fan of tyson, the skill that he had. how he fought and drop them to the canvas. but now, hesitation interferes to the one i idolized. he had a problem of his training ,his physical condition(including his knee),a character of being mad....blah blah blah.. :boxing: .i hope his next fight, a new tyson will captured my attention and not to dissapointed the viewers- especially the one who idolized him. good luck!
