He did stun Cotto pretty bad Yeah that was a perfect punch. I'll tell you why it hurt Cotto so badly. Cotto had just generated hella leverage and was coming in with a big left hook, and right when the leverage moved through his torso and he was coming up with the punch, he caught the shot from Corely, resulting in his leverage+corely's leverage+corely's punch applied to his head. I watched that punch like 12 times in a row after the fight last night, just to see exactly how it went down. Sneaky southpaws are always fun to watch ^^

Corley was on his way to being soundly defeated before the premature stoppage. Some people are grossly overreacting to the shots Cotto weathered in the 3rd round. I agree, I didnt see Corley winning the later rounds especially if it went to the cards (which is what I expected would have happened) but Corley shown enough in the fight that it should have kept going, It was pretty even. Also Corley's shots did look like pillows...He was throwing combinations and I was like is he that slow? It looked like he got nothing off on a lot of them. But who am I to judge? He did stun Cotto pretty bad and thats all that matters. Fortunately enough their was a rematch clause, but that wont get exercised.

corley feather fisted? i would not call corley featherfisted but he isn't a puncher anywhere in the league of tszyu,gatti,harris,hatton. and he was very light for this fight and cotto extremely heavy and still managed to hurt cotto that bad, if tszyu with great great power and who weighs 150 at fight night caught cotto it would be all over.

Some people are grossly overreacting to the shots Cotto weathered in the 3rd round. Yeah, people tend to do that, when a seemingly invincible, undefeated hometown hero is out on his feet, from a right hook from a feather fisted left handed fighter.

Gatti, Tszyu, PBF can all beat Cotto. They will of course protect Cotto from having to face one of these fighters. your exactly right. finally some people on here that make sense, and understand that cotto is a good fighter, but all of the above mentioned fighters hit, ALOT harder than chop, and will hit cotto ALOT more than chop did.

i don't think a rematch is any good. cotto would win the next match, he'd be smarter and not go in so fast, he would out gun chop like he did last night. but with that said, the next fighter thats not scared of cotto that can punch will take out cotto. That was a memorable scene. Cotto got saved last night. Chop Chop deserves a rematch, but I doubt they'll give him one.
