DLT i'll give you your due ,for saying Corley would give cotto problems, I didnt think it could happen,but,Cotto fought a STUPID ASS FIGHT, not until that last round did he fight how he should have fought.And it was a retarded stopage, I think he would have won it still,and won it better if it had gone on,but thats just MO, i hope a rematch happens,Id like to see cotto do better, i think this is the hurdle he should cross before facing any top fighters.I didnt think cotto would get caught up in all the hype, thought he was smarter than that,but damn, he got rocked, I think it's a learning experience, so in a way Im glad it happened, he'll fight smarter from now on. Cotto won by KO but if I was him I wouldnt go anywhere near a rematch. Chop will always give him problems and it will be even closer if its in the US like in Vegas or something where cotto doesnt have the whole crowd on his side

Cotto shouldent retire this is all part of the process if anything its a learning experience. It's just goign to make him better.

Ref gets no respect. If Cotto beat Corley into a bloody pulp, and corley ended up with brain damage, people would accuse him of doing a bad job. Cotto acomplished what he wanted which was to get a win against a tougher fighter. He did not look as impressive as previous fights which happens when you step up in class of fighters. I think Cotto still needs some work before stepping up to Kostya, Mayweather, Gatti or Judah though. I think Cotto fighting a Vivian Harris right now would be a mistake. I don't think his managers will put him in a situation to lose and will steer him away from the above mentioned fighters for the rest of the year.
