It's either Shane Mosley or Fernando Vargas............. i'd have to say Mosley. his skill isnt all that great. all he had was hand speed and power. his defense is krappy and his jab in virtually non-existant.

yeah but u can say the same for B-Hop hes never faught a real middleweight, and he never went up or down to fight anybody. Hopkins has fought at least 8 or 10 true middleweights (or heavier) that I can think of right off the top of my head, Johnson, Echols (who is huge). I'm no Hopkins fan, but don't misrepresent his record.

Keep in mind I was a big KT fan but he has lacked a lot of activity grown more arrogant, he came back beat a scared Sharmba Mitchell and all of a sudden he is back and top 3 or 4 in many people's p4p list? Not to mention he has been using that phrase that irritates me which basically means he isnt gonna fight any up and coming threats that he think can beat him, "I just want to fight big fights" While fighters like Morales, Pacquiao, Barrera, Castillo keep fighting top ranked fighters one after another they all get ranked below him. What are you talking about? he has used that line once and is fighting the No 1 ranked up and coming fighter in the IBF in Hatton. He lacked activity because he was injured, and then came out and destroyed a guy who 70% of the so called experts said would beat him and was generally regarded as the amn most deserving a shot at the title because he alledgdly hurt his knee in the first fight. He KTFO Judah in 2 rounds and he has since gone on to become the undisputed welter champ. He is alot older than the fighters you mentioned, and now you want to critise him because he want to cash in and seal his legacy with mega-fights against the likes of DLH, Mosley and Judah? Give me a break, if you don't like him then I don't give a shit, but don't just talk crap about one of the best boxers of his generation. :mad:

I don't think JC could beat Bhops or else he'd try to get a fight with him. I still don't think he could beat Lacy or else he'd try & unify against him too. I read quite a few times that Lacy said he'd have no problem going overseas to fight him. a couple of years ago Hopkins agreed to fight Calzaghe, the next day he changed his mind and pulled out. Hopkins avoided the fight not Calzaghe. its disapointing because it would have been a really good styles match. Lacy's a talented fighter, a bit overated for a prospect and cant punch as hard people say. He needs to fight a guy like Danny Green before stepping up to Calzaghe. but first Lacy needs to lose some arm weight, get back to boxing and stop loading up with every shot. IMO Lacy holding a world title is a joke, its unreal that he can 17-0, has only beaten one half decent fighter and is considered a world champion :confused: i think people expect far too much from him too soon and if he's put in with a rough fighter like Calzaghe he'd get beat. Give Lacy a couple of years and you could have a genuine world class fighter.

I don't think Calzaghe could beat either Tarver or Johnson. He's must be wasting his talent because he hasn't tried to unify the division. Nah, Ottke held the belts and refused to fight him. Calzaghe is the best Super middle out there and extra belts wont prove that anymore. I cant see the difference between Hopkins and Calzaghe myself, their situations are exactly the same but one's at the top of P4P and one's not in it. :confused: I think there a serious issue with the passport Calzaghe holds!! For what its worth, IMHO Calzaghe would beat Hopkins too.

Calzaghe's chin is suspect though. If JC & Lacy fought, I could see JC jumping out to an early lead sort of like Syd Vanderpool did & getting caught with something big from Lacy mid-way through. JC has been down a few times from alot lesser punchers. He's been down twice in his career, never looked hurt and got up to win comfortably. Hopkins was down twice in 1 fight against KO specialist Mercado :rolleyes: so does he have a suspect chin too? JC's walked through bigger punchers than Lacy. The guy's not even close to being able to beat Calzaghe yet when he's still struggling to beat guys like Sheika and Vanderpool. The power that he has won't get him out of trouble with the big boys.

Tito, (he beat a welterweight who was out of shape at middleweight, that doesnt do anything but throw wide punches and not block.) and all of sudden hes better than ever.lol no man, tito is not overrated, shane mosley, spinks, mayorga are the most overrated fighters.
