I've boxed with contacts before, it never reall bothered me. I only had 1 time where the contact came out, but i just continued fighting, wasnt a big deal

Nah Can you wear contacts in the ring? Because i see people like mayweather, holmes, frazier and many other boxers have problems with their eyes. If you have bad eyes what can you do about it, in the ring? its just too dangerus they can get knocked out btu a good hit, imagine having one on and the otherone off it would give you a headache and you will still need to fight.

I know someone who was completely blind in one eye, and now can only detect light in the other and would know if someone walking before them is a girl or a boy, but when they asked about laser surgery the doctor said it's too much of a risk under those circumstances, because there is a chance she could end up being completely blind. I couldn't imagine losing one of my senses..

keep in mind laser treatment doesnt always work. So it might just be money down the drain. I saw it one time on tv they where treating jessica simpson, and it worked, the chances that it fails are slim, but i'll do some research, costs, chance that it fails etc. altough i don't need it now you never know if you eyes worsen.

I'm far sighted and i don't really need contact iáint wear any i can fight without, but say if your eyes get worse, and you can see everything comming good, or it's too much of a blur you've got a problem. how expensive is a lasertreatment? I don't know the exact figure, but I know it's expensive and it's risky in some cases. You have to be very careful.

If you are near sighted it wont really matter but if u cant see well within several feet your gonna get fucked up. :eek:

There is no way in hell you can be a boxer if you can't see well. You'll be in a fight sooner or later and your contacts would get knocked out and then you'd be knocked out soon afterward.

Have you thought about laser surgery to improve your eyes?

Thats a question ive always wondered about.....I cant imagine someone boxing with contacts on.
