Who do people in America and the rest of the world think is the best, most talented, most respected british boxer in britain at the moment.
I think most respected will be Wayne McCullough.
But for the best and most talented i'm unsure because people from other countries seem to have different opinions to us Brits.*
Danny Williams, Ricky Hatton, Johnny Nelson, Joe Calzaghe, Robin Reid, Howard Eastman, Junior Witter, Michael Gomez, Alex Arthur, Scott Harrison, Michael Brodie, Wayne McCullough, Damaen Kelly, David Barnes, Enzo Maccarinelli, Carl Froch
Because he's ducking me.
dont forget he wont come out of the UK to take a fight in the U.S
Lewis was more jamaican than he was british
mis dos centados
Hatton is tough but he is overly protected. I gotta say Lennox Lewis is the best, and most respected British boxer even though alot of people dont like him.
You spar with better opposition? If you think that Hatton is so easy...why not issue him a challenge? Interesting...hmmmmmmmm!

Who the fuck are these guys?
Ricky Hatton, I spar with better opposition than he fights. Howard Eastman, hasn't fought anyone of note. Danny Williams, one hit wonder. Junior Witter, top ten 140 lber who fights nobodies. Michael Brodie, protected and garbage. Wayne McCullough hasn't beaten anyone in years. Joe Calzaghe, sucks.

. A guy I know went to a Gentlemans Evening where Benn was an after dinner speaker. he was asked if he had given Mclellan any money to help out. His reply was "fuck him, Don King brought him over to put me in a wheel chair, let Don King sort him out". Of course, this may have been before he became a born again christian.
Lol :D
lol irl hahahahaha
I just can't picture a bloke in jodpurs and a flat cap being rough as fuck. :D
He comes from Bristol, never been but I believe it's a rough as fuck sort of town. Watched the Benn-Eubank fight for the second time again the other day, an absolute belter. The body shots Benn was putting in would have dropped most men. The Benn-Mclellan fight was stunning, I've got it on DVD and it never fails to give me goosebumps. Benn was never the same fighter after that, he pretty much said so after one of his clashes with Steve Collins. Great fight. Eubank gets dropped, in the 12th I think, and is well behind on points. He gets up and KTFO Watson almost immediately. Watson was a pretty skilled boxer and Eubank was counter puncher / banger with fairly limited skills but great heart and chin.
Gonna look around for it, sounds like a great fight
wow.
I just looked up Eubanks on Boxrec and this is what displayed under the Watson fight-
Both fighters dropped. Watson spent 40 days in a coma, underwent 6 brain surgeries, and suffered permanent partial paralysis.
was it a good fight? i've never seen it. and I'd like to..sounds like they both have a stalker slugger style, I've never seen either of them fight

I had heard something along those lines. The Watson fight had a similar effect on Eubank, he was always reluctant to go in for the kill after that.

asian: ali g show is great
frank: Benn is more worthy than anyone else on that list, I'd pick Benn then Eubanks, not sure who the other two are. benn has been through hell, he is one of the few fighters I really respect. here's a little something some of you may not know about benn.
(pertaining to McClellan-Benn bout.)
Only 30 seconds into the match, McClellan makes lightning speak! Slowly, Benn began to come back into the fight. He was fighting McClellan on equal ground, when he got staggered with a direct right. He was knocked off his feet. Exit Benn? Not yet. Gathering his strength for a heroic turnaround, he destroyed his opponent's hopes with a tenth round KO. It was a magnificent fight with a tragic conclusion.
While Benn was celebrating his success, McClellan went back to his corner. He staggered there for a few seconds, and then collapsed under the eyes of Michael Watson. The ring doctor rushed onto the scene, followed by an ambulance and emergency unit. McClellan was in critical condition. At a nearby London hospital McClellan was rejoined by Benn, who had a premonition of disaster in the dressing room. He was right, the American was in serious danger. A blood clot had formed in the brain, ruining his hopes forever. No one would ever see the courageous McClellan fight again.
As for Nigel Benn, he'd been marked for life. He says he would like to visit the McClellan at his home in Michigan, but he is worried about how McClellan's family would react to the man who caused their terrible tragedy.
Benn will always remember the hand that lay so still in his hand on that February evening in 1995, the hand that belonged to a champion who had lost everything.

Barry McGuigan was a terrific little fighter and Duke McKenzie was a 3 weight world champ with some decent wins on his record.

Eubank speaks funny too, its hard to believe the guy grew up as a hard ass, i heard eubank was rough as fuck in his younger days.
I just can't picture a bloke in jodpurs and a flat cap being rough as fuck. :D
Yeah, Eubank would just stop fighting and strike a pose for no reason.LMAO.
He did mess him up bad, he's only started being able to walk again in the last couple of years. It was a great fight, you should see it if you haven't yet. Watson was a very good fighter too, he handed Benn his first loss and was beating Eubank until he got KTFO.

Chris Eubank and Naseem Hamed were funny arrogant. Judah is just stupid with his stuff.
Didn't Eubank also do some weird body builder poses in between rounds? That guy was also cool. Didn't he mess up Michael Watson or something?

Boxing isn't big in America anymore. It's all baseball and basketball now. All I'm saying is Ricky Hatton and Danny Williams suck.
Danny Williams is a 50/50 fighter, sometimes he's good, sometimes he's terrible.
Let the Tszyu fight decided if Hatton sucks.
Your joking right :D
UK boxers dont even make the sports pages in the newspaper's, i think the Hatton vs Tszyu story had a column near the sex lines adverts.
If i asked most people in the UK who Howard Eastman was fighting next, they would probably say "Howard who?"
Boxing in the UK isnt a big sport anymore, its all soccer.
