Leija (about Gatti) on Friday Night Fights

Was I imagining it, or did anybody else hear Jesse James Leija actually say that he thought Gatti hit HARDER than Kostya Tszyu?!? :eek: I'd like to believe that since Gatti is my favorite, and I suppose that if anybody would know it's Leija, but harder than Tszyu?? That just seems a bit extreme to me! He actually was very complimentary towards Gatti, and even said that he picks him to beat Mayweather (or was that Tszyu?? As in Gatti beating K.T?) Go ahead..for some of you I realize I just made it 'trash Gatti time'! (unintentionally..I love the guy..so go easy please! :o )

yeah he said it !! but to all those people on here who are thinking this might be true, you should watch a few of Tszyu's early fights. And they always say he is a slow starter, well i don't agree with that either. His first 10 fights or so, he knocked 7 or 8 out in the first round. And Zab will lose again if he faces him, so would PBF, and he would walk straight through Spinks. I agree...regardless of how well Judah did against Spinks last night, Tszyu is a totally different ball game, and he simply has too much power for Judah!

Even Tyson is nice to people after he loses to them. Its just how it is, doesn't mean anything. Remeber when Tyson wiped his blood off of Lennox Lewis face, it was weird. Yeah now that was bizarre! :eek: For some reason it made me uncomfortable..how crazy is that?? :confused:

Enjoy Gatti's fights, all the way from Robinson to Ward, though now way does he punch harder than Tszyu. It's all hype to build interest in the fight. Tsyu KO 5 Gatti.

lol yeah im confused now lol. Good..were even then...stop confusing me!!! :D Seriously, I do remember him picking Gatti to win..now whether it was against Tszyu or Floyd I'm not sure about..I was trying to fold laundry, etc. while watching the fight..so I was kinda busy and I was still in shock from where he said Gatti hit harder than K.T too!! :eek:

Dont forget guys like Miguel Angel Gonzlales, Hurtado, Rodriguez and Santos as guys Tszyu has stopped. Are you actually gonna try and put Joey Gamache and Terron Millet on that list? by the way "Lucky punch/early stoppage" my ass No kidding...Tszyu did not get lucky against Judah! I've posted it time and again...K.T. handed that punk his ass and will do so again. No way was that punch luck! :rolleyes:

Hmmm..thats an interesting take on it too. I thought he looked preoccupied, but as for not wanting to win I thought they all wanted that. Gatti-Mayweather may be a bit boring..but if Gatti manages to knock him out then it would be well worth it to me! :D That would be truly amazing.
