As far as this year goes, I don't think there was a HW fight that even belonged even in the top 10 -- Sorry, but I'm taking a shot at your Tyson-Williams entry here, though I admit it had its moments.
Som magazines had Holyfield-Tyson I, as the FOY for '96.
It was a SPECIAL fight, but that was the same year as Gatti-Rodriguez....which was not only the best fight that year, but one of the best fights in history.

It probably wasn't FoY, but Tua-Ibeabuchi could have been close. With this current crop of hvywts it is hard to say. Toney-Byrd would be an interesting fight.
