When was the last time that a heavyweight fight was Fight of the Year?? And when do you think we will have another and who will the 2 fighters be?

Yeah, considering it had to compete with Ward-Gatti III. No way, dude, although it was a very spectacular dogfight. Toney-Jirov was also a better fight As far as this year goes, I don't think there was a HW fight that even belonged even in the top 10 -- Sorry, but I'm taking a shot at your Tyson-Williams entry here, though I admit it had its moments.

Holyfield-Bowe 1 wasn't even '92's fight of the year.... It was another heavyweight fight, Moorer-Cooper, that took the honor.

Som magazines had Holyfield-Tyson I, as the FOY for '96. It was a SPECIAL fight, but that was the same year as Gatti-Rodriguez....which was not only the best fight that year, but one of the best fights in history.

It probably wasn't FoY, but Tua-Ibeabuchi could have been close. With this current crop of hvywts it is hard to say. Toney-Byrd would be an interesting fight.
