I just want to know if you people thought the ref. stopped the fight too early. I think Etteine started to come back, and might have turned the tide, had he been given another round.
even if you gave it 10-9, Ettienne lost the round.
I could see an argument for giving him the first, though I didn't feel he won it. His punches were ineffectual.
The second round, by your own scoring was 10-9 Brock. Not exactly a won round.
The third round he did abysmally, getting knocked down twice. Even if you thought he had outlanded Brock and "won" the round, you would still have to give it 10-8 because of the 2 knockdowns.
Now, mebbe they teach math differently where you went to school, but from the math I learned, that totals up to 2 rds to possibly 1 for Brock on the scorecards, assuming the 3rd went to the end of the round.
If he lost the round then where did the point come from?
Yeah, he won that last round in a very big way! Brock's hands were trying their damnest to miss Etienne's head, but the black rhino's head was just too fast for them, he was beating the shit out of those hands! lol
Its not that difficult. Its called I had the 2nd round 10-9 and not 10-8 because I thought Ettiene won the round. He was outworking and outlanding Brock.

Ettiene definitely has a soft head (not chin, like Atlas observed) and Brock took advantage. Brock on the other hand didn't show anything spectacular. He still has a long way to go and would be taken out now by the likes of Peter.
how, going down once in the 2nd, and twice in the third, could you possibly have had Ettiene winning every round? He never even came close to hurting Brock.
As for Brock, I think he needs some work but there's definite potnetial there. If he continues to fight the way he did last night, his "defense" will be picked apart by any top 10 guy, but I don't know that you can really judge ny last night. He had a good target in front and was puching more than you would against someone who could hit back and hurt you.
As for his offense, the only thing I can say is that he did manage to see every opening he was given, and that's impressive considering how many there were. A top 10 guy won't make it that easy on him. Let him take a small step up, fight a real gatekeeper and I'll judge him then.

Ettiene still looked alert, so it was premature. But Brock would have gotten to him sooner or later.
Don't listen to Neuraxis, he's still in love with Wlad. Brock in most other weight classes would never amount to more than a lower echelon top-tenner. At heavyweight, it's possible that he could win a belt.
What does Wlad have to do with Brock?

Started to come back? I had Etteine winning every round. He just has a horrible chin and it was a good stoppage. And Brock didn't impress me at all once again.
