Shane Mosley is overrated.

only watching boxing for one year and ya join date is July of '04. Shane Mosley could probably beat any other welterweight in the world whose name isnt Miguel Cotto i think Mosley could still beat Cotto. Cotto won 7 rds to 5 but there were times where Mosley could of poured it on him especially when he had him stunned and when Cotto backed up to the ropes plenty of times and Shane didnt do nothing but wait on Cotto.

Yes he beat oscar de la hoya....once but DLH GOT ROBBED THE second time and dlh didnt train the first time and shane won it fair and square he fought good..2nd time dlh trained but beat him At 154 mosley has been SUCKING! I only started watchin boxin last year i saw his fight with Winky Wright...I heard the underdog won, i didnt know who they were when i was watching, i was thinkin mosley was the underdog, so i watch the fight and i thought mosley was gonna win(looked like tha underdog) Then i see he takes a beating for 12 rounds straight, rematch was exactly the same!! If anyone remembers mosleys last fights at welterweight, it was against Vernon Forrest, Mosley got his ass whooped TWICE. Then Mayorga stopped Forrest twice, then mayorga got whooped(not really whooped but out boxed) by the Dangerous heavy puncher CORY SPINKS(being sarcastic there) BTW shane mosleys last fights at 147 were both against Vernon Forrest, which he got whooped, and ever sinnce has been going down. mosley reminds me of zab judah a bit(except mosley is more promised a hof spot) real talent,but never got there won an ibf belt and got the real welterwt.title and after that it was downhill and why is erbody downplaying his wins over vargas? vargas was only what?....28-29 still an age were prime talent shows vargas was not shot,just watch the 1st fight vargas was in too many wars,so he stopped fighting like that if he did engage war wit mosley he woulda been ko' earlier

The guy dominated the lightweight division when he was there. All of his title defenses, which I think were about 8, were by KO. Then he jumped from 135 to 147 to take on De La Hoya & be the 1st man to beat him convincingly.
