Regardless of who wins in their upcoming fight, would the result be in any doubt that it would be necessary for a rematch? Or would there still be a rematch even if the outcome was clear as day?
The reason there's still interest in a Pac-MAB rematch is because the first fight was a shocker.
Many believed that Pacquiao had little chance.....& that he managed to catch Barrera on an off night, or having just underestimated Manny.
There's no way Morales or Pacquiao aren't aware of what the other guy will bring.
i agree on all points and have to add that, for Manny "win or loose against EM", PAC-MAB 2 is viable either way...
A blowout on either side would result in a rematch being highly unlikely.
There are too many other quality fighters hovering around for people to want to see an unecessary second fight.
If the fight will be close expect to have clamor for a rematch, but if it is a blowout either way, only chance that there will be a rematch if their paths will ever cross again in a championship or a diff division ...

If the fight makes a lot of money, even if it is a Barerra type blowout, the two fighters are so popular that they will stand to make even more money for the rematch.
So, I am going with yes, no matter what.
