Which fighter is the most durable fighter in boxing today, so durable that it seems impossible that he would be ko'ed? How about elusiveness, can't get ko'ed without being hit. Who's KO loss would surprise you the most? Here are my picks:
Vitali Klitschko
James Toney
Bernard Hopkins
Antonio Margarito
Miguel Cotto
Jose Luis Castillo
I can't see any of these guys getting ko'ed.
margarito
mayorga (at 154 and below)
hopkins
morales(has a great chin, even tho i hate him-and dont think even pac will ko him)
r.marquez (if u come in trying to ko him,he will ko u first)
VK (height and reach are a big factor in HW divison, unlike in lower weights(middle on down) where skills can win a fight over height or reach...but i dont hate the guy at all)
castillo

what about Lamon Brewster, he has showed that he can take a punch better than any one out there today. Wlad Landed many clean punches, and could not put him away, not to mention he has never been KD
You has never seen the fight, right?
Wlad KD Brewster with a single right hand in the 4th!!!
Brewster has never been KD on other fights.
Reggie Johnson dropped him....& it was a better shot/knockdown than the one Toney suffered against Roy. The Roy one looked more like he was off-balance.
The one with Roy Jones wasn't even a punch. Roy pushed him with an open glove.
guys, James Toney ever got knocked down besides vs. RJ?

Nobody here is mentioning Mayorga? If you can drop you hands against a fighter who is naturally 20 pounds heavier than you and is the hardest puncher in their weight division you are damn close to unfuckwithable. He did get knocked down but down and out are two different things as far as putting him dwon from head shots not sure it could happen.
We're talking "unknockoutable" and you mention a foolish fighter (for dropping his hands against Tito) who just got knocked out? I agree he has an excellent chin, but the fact that he was stopped (head or body shot) eliminates him from consideration.

There is no such thing as an unknockoutable fighter. Every boxer can and probably, will eventually get knocked out. it's the nature of the sport.
It's about who has the least favorable conditions to get knocked out.
I agree.
But in relative terms, one of the hardest to knockout these days is Nedal Hussein. I saw him got hit hard a lot by Pacman and Larios and not even see a change in his facial expression or even a small trembling of knees! If this guy could only improve his boxing skills, he will be tough to beat.
vitali klitschko has a decent chin - lennox lewis of all people tagged him pretty good a couple of times, and he took it...
i'm gonna make everyone yell at me by saying that vassily jirov is the most un-knockoutable fighter around these days, even though he's been tko-ed twice recently. hear me out: the guy uses his head as a punch-absorber, like he doesn't even care that he's getting hit - i've almost never seen a heavyweight take as many solid head shots before going down as he did in the james toney fight - so i'm saying that because he absorbes such huge ammounts of punishment before going down, he deserves the iron-jaw award for the heavyweight division. if the guy actually learned some defensive skills he'd be a top-10 heavyweight, james toney level.

Some guys like Tua, who does have a good chin are afraid to take risks and possiably get KO'd. Like if Tua took more risks in the Lewis fight no doubt in my mind he would've been out. Damn even feather-fisted Byrd had Tua hurt in their fight. If they have a chin, dig to that body...there's a weak spot somewhere.
Tua being vulnerable to Lewis and to Byrd is open to arguments from various sides.

I see guys are throwing out names like Antonio Margarito, L. N'dou, Vitali Klitschko, Winky Wright and Glen Johnson. All these guys have been buzzed or seriously dazed in the past. Johnson was even stopped by Hopkins. If Shane Mosley can daze Wright (albeit for a few seconds only), I believe a Trinidad for instance can definetely stop him. Lets not forget a figher named Juarez almost stopped N'dou (was badly hurt and out on his feet) and Margarito was stunned by Santos a few times.
My picks: James Toney (based on his track record) and David Tua.

I think Cotto is still untested in the chin department! Not just yet...
re
DLT, did you even see that fight with Johnson and Hopkins? Johnson was never knocked down or seriously hurt, the ref just stopped the fight because he was being so outclassed. If that fight happened now, they wouldn't even have thought about stopping the fight. The reason the fight was even stopped was because it happened around that time all those deaths were occuring in boxing, so the comissions were really paranoid. I remember that whole year they were stopping fights when the guy would just get wobbled a little.
