roy was a great fighter, i think when people go over his career after he retires and study his fights they will see that. great natural ability, its all gone now obviously. he cant see anything coming anymore. he needs to retire asap

The fight was never made, as stated in my article, due to Benn being beat by Malinga and then retired after the loss. Malinga was not a known fighter and previously knocked out by Jones.

nigel been ducked him u idiot...roy was up and coming and nigel didnt wanna lose to a young guy roy even went as far as calling him and asking for a fight but benn didnt want anything to do with roy jones. look what roy jones did to james toney....he would have beaten benn 10x's worse. benn should have lost the fight with the g-man, benn was given way to much time to recover when he was put down early.

HATA!!! I don't like RJ that much but I still think that he dominated his division in his prime...He didn't just keep his belts but he DOMINATED...

Apparently to get some respect in these threads, a fighter has to fight EVERY opponent imaginable to be able to cement his legacy :rolleyes: . RJJ was great fighter who's skills were uncontested during his time. No amount of bashing nor hating would diminish his accomplishments.
