Most Overrated fighter(now)

Right now it would be Tito Trinidad because all he did was KO a blown up welter who drops his hands. For now thats my call until Tito beats Winky or any other Champion. Oh and please stop being silly thinking Tito should try fighting Hopkins again. I wanna see Tito fighting and become a great Champion. I don't want to see get outboxed and retired again. Hopkins is not gonna drop his hands like Mayorga.

ya i know u might think mayweather and all those guys are over rated, just cuz their not perfect in everyway dont mean they cant be good I only think Shane Mosley is over rated

oh also Pac-man is overated I truly beleive that night against Barrera was a fluke and pacman was underestimated. He lost against Marquez he only had one round which was the 3 Knockdown round. But if Marquez or barrera faught him again i think he would get dominated. I think he will beat Morales because hes also one dimentional although he posses great boxing skills. the pac-jmm fight was a draw -- get over it. that's why pac wanted a rematch until jmm priced himself out of the fight (chickened out)!

Wow! u think so? then what would that make Pac-man? over-over rated? I remember him beating up Emmanual Lucero (lil punk kid) who lost to a journey man on espn2. Lets face it tho - the most fun division to watch is the 126-130lb divisions. nah - that would make pacman the small guy who wants to fight the very best - (even if it means going to his opponent's home turf)!!! lucero was unbeaten until he faced pac. i agree with you on your last comment tho.

Bernard Hopkins, he's an exellent fighter but hasnt beaten enough quality fighters to be considered P4P number 1. Tito and DLH are quality fighters but not from the same weight class.

Chico is Overated, people forget real quick how casamayor and mayweather did to him. Also i think Mayweather is rated just by the talent he posses than what he has faced. Ricky Hatton and Cotto have not faced anyone decent because well they are young and peopl need to be patient before they judge them as overated.

Light welter is the best division, its the division with the most depth and i consider their wins to be a lot better than you make out. Look at who Hopkins has been fighting for the last couple of years, and he's rated the best P4P fighter. I think Cotto and Hatton have a lot to prove in their own division but as far as boxing goes they have prove a lot already. These two are underated by you. i know i would getting a big howl from a lot of morales' fans here...but i believe erik is a little bit overrated. i know he was a a 4-division champion but his moving up at 130 and presumably at 135 without cleaning those weight classes made me think that he has been ducking fighters he knows who could be threat to his ring records. it seems to me that morales hasn't really fought the best at featherweight and superfeatherweight divisions and seems only picking smaller guys who just recently moved at his weight class and have not proven themselves to be competitive at that level. sure when he moved to 130 and beat gutty espadas, jesus chavez and carlos hernandez but his wins were not impressive by some experts' standards. besides those two were not the best fighters in that division. at 126 he obviously he didn't want a piece of juan manuel marquez which lead many to think that he was really ducking him. and his loss to mab only strengthens some people's belief that he was indeed overrated. and now he is fighting another smaller guy (manny pacquiao) in his home turf, 130-lb that is.

Manny pac mainly becuase people are saying he will beat anyone and is undistructable, its mainly due to his website where everyone thinks hes a god, hes really good but VEEEEEERY ONE DEMENSIONAL AND COULD GET OUT BOX LIKE MARQUEZ PROVED. HE IS P4P BUT WHAT PEOPLE ARE SAYING ON HIS WEBSITE LIKE HE WILL KO ERIK MORALES IN 3 ROUNDS THAT INSANE, HES BEING OVERARRTED BY HIS FANS AT TIMES NOT THE AVERAGE BOXING FAN.

Pretty much everyone thats been named is a great fighter(except Ruiz) so why are people saying they are overated. Mayweather,Toney, Jones, and DLH are all great fighters who have exceptional skills and pretty good resumes.With the exception of DLH and Jones who's styles depend on speed and reflexes are all still great. :confused: Do you just hate these fighters because I really haven't heard any valid reasons as to why they are overated other than "they suck" and "they had sex with my mom" type of reasons.

this is really just about who is hyped the most... Mayweather is hyped where he is at because of: -Natural skills -Beat the undefeated Corrales who was supposed to be the monster puncher and was expected to blash Floyd -He is undefeated and has been impressive in like 95% of his wins. -While not GREAT fighters, has fought consistent tough and top fighters like Corley, Sosa, N'Dou, Carlos "Famoso" Hernandez, Augustus, Goyo Vargas, Gerena, Manfredy, Genara Hernandez, Jukko, Jesus Chavez. All guys were either champions or top 10 fighters when Floyd fought them. -Moved up in weight from 130 to challenge the top guy at lightweight and the champion Jose Luis Castillo. Won a close decision but then a more decisive decision in an immediate rematch. -Has consistently looked impressive in most if not near all of his wins. Can't argue with the facts.

Baby Joe Mesi is definitely overrated. Look at the huge media attention for him in contrast to his poor performances against Vasili Jirov and Monte Barret. Another fighter who is overrated is Sugar Shane Mosley. After losing twice to Vernon Forrest and Winky Wright you can just say that he is not the pound for pound fighter you had in your mind. Floyd Mayweather JR is definitely overrated. Let him take on one of the top dogs in the division to prove he is one of the best at this moment. James Toney is also overrated. That guy has got the biggest mouth of all boxers, insulting every fighter in the division. He performed nothing in the last year due to injuries, couldn't knockout Rydel Booker either. Let Dr. Iron Fist use his fist to shut his mouth forever. Ricky Hatton is overrated, because he beats guys in his backyard. Why does this Britton doesn't have the balls to fight outside UK or is he too afraid he would never come back to his homeland?

Tarver, Mosley, floyd mayweather are the three most overrated fighter rightnow. Mosley got beat, so did tarver, and floyd will at the hands of moralles or pacqiao.
