When Eastman is champ, he can fight anywhere he wants. Until then, he has to breathe LA's dirty air.

yo what's up with having this fight at the staples center... it makes no economical sense....a fight like this would sell out in london in a minute...also bernard should show his warrior champion mentality and fight in eastmans terrority...like when hagler went over and bombed out minter at wembley arena the vibe at english fights are incredible think about the nigel benn wars and all the lasers and eccentricty surrounding a prince fight this fight in england would inspire a slugfest from a rowdy crowd however in l.a. eastman will bring it and hopkins will slowly and boringly break him down anyway hopkins is still the man and if they put taylor in there to soon his ass will get ruined I'm guessing you didn't see Eastman's last fight - he has a very small following in the UK. Obviously it wasn't for the undisputed world title, but it was more like a snooker crowd than a rowdy boxing match! This fight is better off held in America.

If Tsyzu was American i`d agree that Hatton should go to the states, but he`s not, he is an Austrailian, Russian, Japanese so he could demand any of these locations. Fighting in Manchester makes both fighters a career best payday.

Those fights in Europe are always so strange...so many special effects I think I'm watching one of the cheesy new Star Wars "prequels". At any rate, the Staples Center and other arenas in the States are looking to book events now that hockey is gone. Probably make more money on stuff like this than they do on hockey, anyway. At any rate, promoters are probably getting good deals cause I'm sure the arenas are somewhat desperate to fill their calendars. Tarver-Johnson was at Staples, wasn't it?

True! Eastman hasn`t the right to have this fight in the UK and Hopkins is now a known fighter all over. It could be worse though, it could have been in Philidelphia!

Hopkins got big here in the US after the DLH fight. Plus Eastman is the challenger, is he not?
