After Winky beat Mosley, we all heard him call out Trinidad. He got his chance. When he was offered the fight he was offered 3 million, he said he wanted atleast 4 million. After some time Wright was offered 4 million. Now 4 million isn't enough and he doesn't want to fight in March. Time after time Winky comes up with an excuse. 4 million is more than he has ever seen before. If he's not scared, please tell me what I'm missing here.
I wouldn't be shocked to hear that Winky was scared of Tito. The sad thing is i cannot even imagine Winky beating Tito on points. Tito is just a monster through and through.
i don't know, maybe that's a long time ago, he is a recognized fighter now, now that he has beaten mosely twice. people can get greedy over money you know that. and if he's scared do you think he'll let the people know. sure he would like to fight the best fighter in his category the problem is, for how much (and he's the only one who knows).
People do get greedy, you're right, but if he doesnt take this fight 4 million dollars, chances are he won't get another offer like that again, and he'll be fighting for just enough money to supersize his next meal at Mcdonalds, and thats about it.
it's money, he wants more money!
4 million is twice as much as he has ever made before in his life. If he doesn't take this fight, you think he will make anything close to that in another fight? Hell no. The real reason is he is scared.
winky, is that you? just sign the contract you little bitch and there wont be these types of threads about you.
LOL, if I could give Karma, it would be 2 u
whoever started this topic is a idiot...wright has been calling out trinidad for years...and their isnt a fighter in boxing..thats scared of another fighter in his same weight class
So if he's not scared, then tell me what is the reason for all the excuses not to fight Tito?
I agree with most however don't underestimate a slick southpaw... Cory spinks has been outmatched three of his last four fights if I can get odds, and I am talkin five, six to one I will take a flyer. I am still not that convinced that Tito can beat a good boxer
To be honest, I think Winky is afraid to Fernando Vargas, and after seeing what that little bitch Tito Trinidad did to Vargas, he's scared shitless of Tito the bitch..
Winky is a bitch and Tito is a bitch..
you're such a homesexual jack_ripmy_ass

Wright might be a little full of himself here. I like Winky and all, but Tito is the draw, not Winky. There is a reason his fights are not ppv. He better take the money while he can get it. 15 minutes goes by awfully fast. Tito doesn't need Wright, he is doing him a favor by offering a payday. It might be his only chance. DLH won't fight Winky becuase of the styles and Hopkins gains nothing by fighting Winky.
Winky is cashing in the chips. His 2 wins over Mosley look alot better than they really were. Lets see him do that to Trinidad, and then maybe I'll give him credit. He's never looked very impressive to me.
You know they should just give the 5 million and shut his mouth, watch when they offer 5 Winky will say 6 million is what he was looking for. :D
I agree..offer him the 5 mil and see what he say's then! ;)
Well, if Winky is scared of Tito, then I have to say I dont blame him..hell, I'm scared of him too after what he did to Mayorga! I love watching him fight, but cant really blame many of these guys that dont want in there with him!
