This looks to be an interesting matchup.
This is definately HBO undercard worthy.
I am not sure who would win yet, I have only seen Lyockovich once and he was only marginally impressive against Guinn.
However, I say McCline get outboxed by some guy on ShoBox about a year ago before he went crazy in the 12th or 10th or however long the fight was and if Lyockovich can stay together for 12 rounds, he can take it to McCline.
McCline UD10
i agree its too early for him.
I dont think i would say its too early for him. I look at it more like this is his big opportunity. McCline aint exactly the best of the best but he is a recognizable guy. This is a great chance for Lyakhovich to get some exposure on HBO or something. I think McCline can win but I can see Serguei beating him. If he does that would be a huge step up in the rankings for him. Most young fighters don't get this kind of opportunity. I think he is smart to cash in on the victory over Guinn like this. He'd better train his ass off.
Both guys have very similar KO rate and boxing skills (Lykhovich did outbox Guinn though).
Big deal, Guinn has always been an overrated bum. I've been saying that for years too. He beat two guys with glass jaws (Grant, Dowikwari) and people thought he was the second comming of Ali.
I think it is a bit early for Lyakhovich to take this fight.
McCline looks to be a favorite in this fight. I think he has a big size and experience advantage.
