"Mosley's Return To 147, On Hopkins-Eastman Undercard In Discussion!
By G. Leon
December 29, 2004 - Boxingtalk.com has been informed that talks are underway and looking good for "Sugar" Shane Mosley to return to the ring (and the welterweight divsion) on February 19, vs the ever dangerous TBA (in a comeback fight) as the televised co-feature to undisputed middleweight champion Bernard Hopkins twentieth defense against mandatory challenger Howard Eastman. HBO's February 19 date is being promoted by Oscar De La Hoya's Golden Boy Promotions. Although Mosley may wind up inking with GBP at the end of the day, we can assure you no promotional agreement between GBP and the former three division kingpin has been solidified as this goes to print. Earlier today BT reported that Hopkins-Eastman is headed to Staples Center in Los Angeles, California. GBP probably feels that the addition of the Mosley (a California native) is a perfect fit for the show. Neither Golden Boy Promotions, nor the Mosley's were available for immediate comment, but we will keep you updated so stay tuned.REMEMBER WHERE YOU HEARD IT FIRST! (8:20 PM ET)"- Boxing talk.net

no...not mosley again...he looked ugly in his last two fights...not unless he can come up with a more spectacular performance...he's becoming an eyesore for now.
Shane is full of shit. He was saying the whole time that theirs noway he could make 147 and now all of a sudden he can do it in March after he just had a fight a couple of months ago
I like the "Ever dangerous TBA" part. I haven't been hyped about a Mosley fight since the Forrest destruction. I am glad to see Jack Mosley out of the picture. I think he needed a new trainer. Good find.
