Hey, who the hell said I hate Sturm. I am telling it like I saw it. Did you see the fight? I have the right to differ. Yes, he Ko'ed Cherifi in less time than Trinidad, so what? This is an older more washed up version of Cherifi. Besides, Trinidad's resume speaks for itself, he's the better fighter. Sturm is a good boxer with skills but don't start "hugging" because he did good against DLH, the only name opponent he has faced. did i say you hate sturm?

I have the fight and strum doesnt seem to have much trouble with him. It looked identical to when tito fought cherife. sturm ko'ed him faster then tito..dominated.. sturm would UD taylor...sturm will most likely get the winner of the tito/hopkins rematch...i think sturms has great talent and all this (a jab cant win u a fight) is crap...i mean tell that to larry holmes who use to own boxers for 12 rounds just with his jab...a jab can win fights and he has a great defense and movement..in time he will get better but i give him as good as any chance at hopkins or tito...i wouldnt count him out against anyone

I saw this fight some days ago and I must say that Sturm did not look all that great. Cherifi was holding his own. Did anyone else notice this? Sturm flat out dominated from start to finish he looked great

I thought that strum looked good against cherife. He also showed a hint of power. I think strum may be a bit underrated. Technically he should be undefeated if it wasnt for currupt judging.

i dont know, cherifi seemed like he was looking for a reason to quit and strum gave him one. felix was in control of the whole 4? rounds i never got a sense that cherifi was giving him any trouble. counter hit lefthook to the body was a beautiful finishing punch

The way Oscar performed at middle their are probely a number of guys who would have beaten him. Maybe Allen picked the wrong guy to challenge on the card?

Put Sturm in with Calzaghe and he'll end his mystery once and for all.

Yeah, he lost to a guy named Frank something. Still, Cherifi was doing good against Sturm and even though he got Ko'ed, it was a punch to the midsection, not a cold KO like some described.

I saw this fight some days ago and I must say that Sturm did not look all that great. Cherifi was holding his own. Did anyone else notice this? Cherifi got KO'd on a body shot from a guy with little power in just a couple rounds. Was that what you call holding his own?

Their are a million guys who fight like Sturm in Germany. They almost all fight the same. I don't think Sturm is all that different from them. Good jab, conditioned. But no punching power or any right hand. He's way overrated after that Oscar fight. The way Oscar performed at middle their are probely a number of guys who would have beaten him. His punches looked totally and utterly ineffective. Sturm himself won the WBO title as a replacement opponent on a SD and has just been real lucky. For perspective about Cherifi I watched him about a year ago lose a pretty big decision to a French domestic fighter.
