Wlad sucks... not more that you do

Not good, great. The only top 20 fighters besides TOS to have a KO % of 85% and up are Vitali, Mesi, Wlad, Peter, Brewster, and Tyson. Wlad had some guts to choose to fight Williamson right after a TKO loss.

ahh....damn good point (and i dont say that much) wlad getting owned and ko'ed is still on a lot of ppl mind..its not like vitali losing to lewis and byrd (lewis and byrd won the fight but dint beat vitali get me) but still was ahead on scorecards..or like wlad dominating lamon then losing..but in that fight wlad was owned and that still on a lots of ppl's minds. i still say wlad fights toney...winning this fight can say a lot and will get his reputation back...toney cant hit hard so its a plus Wlad would give Toney the beating of his life. This is a one or two round beatdown. He beats him worse than his brother would because of his greater punching power.

There are persistent rumors coming out of Europe that Wlad will fight Sanders in a rematch in the Spring and possibly as early as March. If there is a rematch, I think this could be the best possible scenario for Wlad. He either shows that the fight that sent him spiraling downward was no fluke or he knocks Sanders out and gets himself back on track. The haters will not agree, but I say Wlad needs this fight and if he wins impressively he is back!!! If anyone says that it's no big deal for Wlad to take this fight and defeat Sanders they are kidding themselves. If he loses then he needs to ride off into the sunset. I think this is as meaningful a fight as Holyfield-Donald.

Yeah but Tzyu wasn't destroyed like Wlad was. In my opinion Wlad can and will win a rematch with Sanders! He has to not be so careless and be more defensive and he wins a tough one! He could easily jab Sanders to death and should have! If he wants to be champ and an alltime great he has to avenge his losses like Lewis did! I think he will, but he has to learn to run and box defensively like Vitali does! He tried to go after Sanders right away and got caught! He got caught exactly like that kid Varakin. Varakin tried to KO Sanders just like Wlad did.

Kostya Tzyu never had a rematch with Phillips, even though he would have beaten him easily in a rematch. What Kostya did was the right thing -- just move on and don't get fixated on a rematch. Kotya did great and Wlad should do the same. A rematch with Bruster would have be great though (b/c Wlad was drugged). Yeah but Tzyu wasn't destroyed like Wlad was. it would be refreshing for me to see WK KO Sanders, even tho I like sanders, but it seems quite dangerous, and I think they want to protect WK for a while, while VK fortifies his claim as the unified champ.

(not quite that bad) brewster is the champ, and hes beaten w-klit.. why rematch him when theres bigger fights , possibly even unification fights :cool: It looks like Golata is going to get another title shot against Brewster. Wlad has to be able to take out one of these 10-20 type fighters to get back in the mix. If he fights someone worse than Williamson, Sanders, or Brewster, nobody is going to care. And Sanders is getting really old and fat. Wlad has to be able to use his youth and fitness to keep Sanders away for just 3 or 4 rounds and Sanders will turn into a sitting duck for Wlad to take out. I saw Sanders last fight and I don't know what to think beause the opponent obviously didn't watch the Wlad fight because he did the same thing Wlad tried to do and got knocked out.

I'm sure Sanders wants a rematch, but I see no scenario where Wlad fights Sanders ever again. Makes no sense for him. He needs some powder puff fights to get some confidence back. The last thing he needs is an iron jawed gut with a big punch.

I would say that this fight, assuming W wins, will NOT mean he's back. He would still have to avenge his loss to Lamon Brewster and prove himself against some real heavyweights.
