For me, it has to be Leonard getting owned by Hector NOT so Macho Camacho. YES, both men were waaaayyyy past their prime BUT Leonard was in the ring with the likes of Duran,Benitez,Hearns,Hagler and Norris. Those men couldnt stop Leonard like Camacho did. What's more crazier Camacho is a pussy cat... a cuttie afraid to take risks, get hit etc. Seeing that Camacho started his career at 130 and Leonard at 147...Camacho stopped the great Ray Leonard...God damn that's embarrassing!!! Ray Leonard is also one of favorite fighters of all time...that hurted when I seen that shit go down.
LOL I remember that one. It was Robbie Peden or something like that. But I remember boxrec saying they had a rematch and Peden knocked him out again. What the hell happened that time??
I think you right...Robbie Peden. What happened is Campbell was winning bt a wide margin and the fight was almost over and he wanted to showboat for everyone to look good and paid a huge price for being over-cocky. It was classic...he got KO'd big time!
Here ...I found the link...he didn't put his hands behind his back as I thought...he just dropped both his hands and walked into him and wanted to show he had the head movement to avoid his punches. He slipped away from 2 of Peden's punches and then got caught with the 3rd.

I don't know if Nate Campbell qualifies as a great fighter...but non-the less,,I can't remember who he was fighting..but towards the end of a fight that he was winning he put his hands behind his back and dared his opponent to hit him (a la Roy Jone Jr) and got knocked out. I never laughed harder while watching a fight.

Even though there is no shame in losing to someone like MAB, when Hamed lost to him that had to be pretty embarassing when u think about how no one really gave MAB a chance and how much the public was pimping hamed as such a great fighter, literally in that fight all i saw was lunging punches by Hamed and smooth counters and great combinations by barrera.
I always thought that rjj losing to glen johnson was pretty embarassing too.
it just warms my heart to hear any reference to MAB vs. Hamed
i always thought marco would win that fight. i said a prayer the night before the fight that was laced with swear words in regards to the prince.
Or Winky--- Plus a few more would be: Tyson vs Busta, both RJJ Ko loses, De La Hoya rolling and crying on the mat after Hopkins dropped him, Hamed getting bashed by MAB cant believe no one has mentioned Trinidad being owned by Hopkins.
Jones being ko'd by Tarver. The worst part is that it made Tarver look like a great fighter which he isn't.Tyson being ko'd by the 42-1 underdog Douglas.Douglas had shown in the past that he had talent but couldn't put it all together like in his ko loss to Tony Tubbs I believe. When he was winning the fight but ran out of gas and was ko'd.
Undefeated Frazier going down 6 times in 5 minutes against Foreman.
Undefeated Tyson getting KO'd by Douglas.
Ali losing to Leon.
Lewis being KO'd twice by guys he should have beat with relative ease.
what the hell!
i feel a little sorry for Iron Mike, cos hes no longer in his prime and was beaten by a much less skilled and talented opponent in Danny Williams.
I would love to see him show the world, whos the real heavyweight champ again, but hes past his prime. These other pretenders wouldnt be able to tie Iron Mikes shoelace when he was in his prime.
.....................................lol..holyfield..whooped him in his prime...he fits in the category with the HWs in the division today...but the problem is i dont think he would do as good today if he was in his prime u gotta remember Mike fought alot of nobodies to get to the championship and when he fought some good fighters he got his ass handed to him.....can we say over-rated!...so go on with that and have a nice day!

** Camacho couldn't break an egg at 160, but at least he's a HOF lock.
Undisputed heavyweight champ Ali losing to inexperienced amateur Neon Leon who proved to be nothing but a marginal journeyman, that is the biggest embarrassment in boxing history. It's also a shameful part of the Ali legacy, but not surprising given the way he had been propped up with gift decisions his last years.
