I think instead of going straight to a unification bout with Byrd or Ruiz, I think unfortunately In april or May we will have to see Vitali pound out another double donut roll of a fighter in his next matchup....
My pick is.....Michael Moorer....Sad but true.
Anyone else wish to elaborate a bit more on this and the other sad matchups we will be plagued to see in the upcoming months???
Id also like to point out that since inking Davarryl Williamson Don King will be launching him into the limelight onto one of his heavyweight showdown cards, so fully expect Davarryl to be facing one of the heavyweight champs on his cards or even pitting him against Golota or Rahman.
My picks for next up heavyweight fights are
Klitschko vs Moorer-Klitschko is in a fad for fighting overweight past it fighters and his KO win is a GREAT excuse for Vitali to jump the gun and win another easy fight...
Golota vs Brewster-Why the hell not? King has pitted him against every other heavyweight champ in his stable, third times a charm?
Ruiz/Byrd vs Williamson-We all know King will give Williamson a shot at the gold that is a given everytime King signs a new heavyweight...
These are my heavyweight picks for 2005, whats yours and where does Rahman Fit in?
I have mixed feelings about Ruiz fighting Vitali.
Ruiz does not deserve the opportunity/payday.
But, he certainly deserves the brutal beating he'd get.
hah this cracks me up.
How Come He Hasnt Mentioned Barrett.to Revenge His Bro's Loss He Did It With C.sanders
I think you are thinking about a different fight. Wlad KD Barrett 5 times and TKO'd him in the 7th.

Please make him fight someone with some skill so he gets his ass knocked out and we never have to see or hear from him again.
If he's our new Heavyweight Champion of the World, we have hit an ALL TIME LOW!
Does the baby want his bottle?

Do you mean Brewster?
I'd say because WK probably wants to prove himself due to the previous bout that had the questionable ending with Brewster. I think that VK might want to stay away from Brewster, just to leave open the possibility of WK getting a rematch.
...but VK's opponents seem tailor-made to suit his style.
At least Golota wasn't an ideal opponent for Ruiz...
sanders, johnson and williams are 3 different styles and fighters, i dont see how they're tailor made for VK..... golota has NEVER beaten a good fighter or won a big fight
From interview of Larry Merchant
Who should Vitali fight next?
The best next fight should be Chris Byrd. But it looks like Rahman is the mandatory challenger now, so it’s possible Vitali will fight Rahman.
What about James Toney?
Toney is still injured and I don’t think they will fight next. It’s possible that they would fight after Vitali’s next fight, maybe at the end of next year.
even if they aren't good fights for VK, at least they will give the best true test of the possibility of a fighter getting inside VK's jab. Either of those fighters will HAVE TO be successful in getting inside if they want to even consider winning :)
