Encouraging words have reached Williams from former champions including Evander Holyfield and Larry Holmes, who said: "Klitschko is not a good champion. He falls back as he throws his jab and is only awkward because he is so big. People build him up because he gave Lennox Lewis a hard fight, but Williams can win this. And he will be a different man after beating Tyson. Williams goes in knowing he is a winner and that makes a big difference."
Holmes has been savagely critical of Lewis on numerous occasions, saying he could not have lived with the top heavyweights of the 70s and 80s, and the old champion is insistent that a strong, heavy-punching heavyweight with decent boxing skills should always be able to prevail over Klitschko, whom he dismisses as "limited and mechanical".
Klitschko, 33, has probably earned the right to be regarded as the leading light of a modern heavyweight division which may be as weak as at any time since Rocky Marciano retired almost 50 years ago. His only defeat apart from that by Lewis in a professional career that began in 1996 was when he was forced to quit against Chris Byrd four years ago with a damaged shoulder, an injury requiring surgery, and his power is underlined by a professional record which has 34 victories, set against his two defeats, with 33 of those wins inside the distance.
I've never read/heard anything that would indicate that...
I have, however, heard that Joe Frazier hates Ali.
I saw an interview with Holmes and he was very bitter about Ali.
He did not literally say "I hate" him, but that's the impression I have got.
Holmes has always had a case of "foot in mouth", but he doesn't hate white fighters, he hates all fighters :D
for the record, he and Cooney are very good friends today and Holmes helps Cooney out with his foundation on a regular basis.
Larry Holmes hates Ali too
I am willing to bet, if somebody asked Larry if he could be the next Undisputed champ, he would say yes. The guy has tarnished his legacy as is Holyfield now. He is a bitter old man. He should have fought George when he had the chance. Hell, Larry has called out Mike for a rematch too.
Tyson vs. Holmes is my Favorite Holmes match!
Larry Holmes hates white boxers. He hates White European boxers even more, but it's okay he is allowed to hate white's according to the society we live in.

Larry is a BITTER old man.
Because noone gives him credit for beating Ali.
People say Ali was shot, but maybe it was Holmes who did not let Ali fight the Ali fight,

Wez, is this you?
Yeah it's me, i'm paying tributes to the fighters nobody hardly mentions or respects. These were the founders of the great sport we have today and were great in their own era's.
Good old Larry Holmes and Evander Holyfield. Williams wasn't the man to do it but they know that Vitali is very beatable.
I hope Evander isn't getting any silly ideas. lol
