Larry Holmes picked Danny Williams to beat Vitaliy

I have read Holmes relate how it broke his heart to beat an aging Ali as he did. He said that Ali was an idol to him.

I've never read/heard anything that would indicate that... I have, however, heard that Joe Frazier hates Ali. I saw an interview with Holmes and he was very bitter about Ali. He did not literally say "I hate" him, but that's the impression I have got.

I am willing to bet, if somebody asked Larry if he could be the next Undisputed champ, he would say yes. The guy has tarnished his legacy as is Holyfield now. He is a bitter old man. He should have fought George when he had the chance. Hell, Larry has called out Mike for a rematch too. Tyson vs. Holmes is my Favorite Holmes match!
